Default Week 12 Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings: Battle for the NFC North Thread!

It's easily the game of the week, not to mention a rivalry game and a border battle game with a huge factor in the NFC North. It should be entertaining.

As I'm obligated to do, being a Vikings fan. Vikings win a close battle, 27-24 to gain a 2 game lead in the NFC North behind 180+ rushing yards from AP!

Skol!

With Rodgers struggling and his receiving corps is less than ideal, I'd say the Vikes can pull off a win. Especially if they keep it on the ground and AP has a big game.

I have a weird feeling that Rodgers and Packers come back this game and win to tie things up in the division.

Until the Vikings beat a top-tier team this season, my confidence is not that high.

They've beat some "middle of the pack" teams like the Raiders, Chiefs, Bears and Rams...all who are below .500 currently and have beaten up a garbage Lions team twice and the garbage Chargers.

I think the Vikings are a good team with a solid defense. The next 4 games will really show where they stand. I have no expectations going into Sunday and would be pleasantly surprised if they win despite the Packer's apathy the last few weeks.

If it was in Green Bay I would feel the Packers magically find a way to win. I just don't see them having a chance in minny the way they are playing.

I have that "feeling" too. It seems to just be in the cards.

Minny has looked good but hasn't pulled off a win against a good team yet. Green Bay has looked so off that i wouldn't be surprised if they lose. It will be GBs game to lose though, they have the talent to win but haven't been putting it together recently.

Also?, Cincy at AZ might be the game of the week.

Not sure if its because im a Bears fan, but Det/GB interests me WAY more then Cin/Ari.

Cin/Ari just don't entertain me, but Megatron always has my attention.

I want Minn to win, 24-13 but I feel GB gets their stuff together and wins 38-10.

I think the Vikings D is going to be too good with the Packers receivers struggling at the moment.

i think home team wins by 3 in this one. AP needs to go off, and should against that D.

but i would agree with some guys above, CIN/ARI is the game of the week IMO

I'll take the Packers by the score of 24-18. This is the week for the Packers to look better, we cannot be embarrassed by the Bears on Thanksgiving.

It's obvious who I want to win in this one, but I highly doubt the Packers have 4 bad weeks in a row, which can be scary. The Vikings defense is much better than it's ever been in recent memory, but something tells me the Pack will come to play. Because I'm a huge Vikings fan, I have to say Minnesota by 3 in tough game.

How many LamBOOOOOOOO fans will be making the trek?

I think the Packers come out guns blazing (credit to Greg Hardy) and make a statement.

I don't see Rodgers losing 4 in a row. Has he ever lost 4 in a row?

I really hope we win. Always great to beat the Fudgies, even more now that we have the lead in the division. I hope AD goes crazy and Teddy has a strong performance.

I could honestly see AP having another 200 yard game and thats all they will need to get that win. If Teddy Two-Gloves can put up a near 300 yard game against the Broncos D then I dont see him having an issue with the Packers D...that being said if the Packers somehow get there crap together then this could be a shootout(yes I said it) but I dont think Teddy can handle that if it happens.

It will be a close one but the Packers will prevail. (at least that's what I keep telling myself)

I was more worried about the Raiders game than I am about Green Bay. The eye ball test tells me the Vikes are just the better team. Minnesota 31 Green Bay 17.
