I would not get any card made after 1980 and try for a 1976 Walter Payton RC in the best condition $3k could buy.

You need about 10k for a Mays RC. I wouldn't by a low grade one. You can also get a 61 Fleer Chamberlain PSA 7 for 3k.

I'd probably just put the $3k in Bitcoin, although you would probably do well if you bought the nicest Brady RC you could for $3k if he wins another one in February.

I would probably try and replace 2 of my old Brady's. Either the PP or Score Auto since Contenders is out. 1 of those rookie auto's & my old Brady/Montana PTT dual auto.

Okay but that is you. I on the other hand wouldn't mind as the one I showed finished at just under three thousand. I'd have no interest in the Chamberlain, don't collect basketball

uh, if you do that, I would highly recommend measuring it the second you get it, and then over-nighting it to either PSA, or BGS. Whatever your poison.
That way when it comes back altered, you can file to get your $$ back.
