Beautiful, to say the least, but are they prints? Posters? Cards?

Hughes got a huge fanbase and that goes without saying.

Even his unlimited print has resale value.

As for the limited ones -- if you are a lucky few to snatch up two sets, selling just one after they are sold out --- will help you recovered for both!

Nothing wrong with being flipper --- unless you have unlimited funds, your collection will be very limited. With that said, you need to learn to be a flipper so you can have "recycling" funds to support your hobby. Working 9-5 is not going to cut it.

Pick and choose your flipping choices -- since there are ton of options out there. You can choose to go "nickles and dimes" routes, or you can go with "Benjamins" routes.

As for not being such a nice person in person --- "Money talks. BS walk".

(An example of this madness --- a friend from Florida asked me to get him a Neal Adams' Batman sketch and he is willing to spend $200 for it. I can't stand Neal as a person, but for a friend's request and a potential to walk away with $50 or so, I will going to try to get one done. I will only look at this as "found money" opportunity. How can anyone turned away from found money?

But then again, I will never understood why "honest and living paycheck to paycheck" persons would returned a ridiculous amount they just found on the street - and YES, it does happened and they got on the news for it.)

Yeah i cant do that . i think a lot of it has to do with re sellers and dealers in the 80's and 90's. I bought and sold a ton back then and a lot of dealers tended to really bash the stuff you sell and as a young tean, that didnt sit well with me . i only spent 40-50a week on books so i tend just to buy what i want. If i got lucky or a opportunity came to make a little extra i would ,but just quick flip that gets to me . like on the scooby doo harley that whole week pissed me off and then we find out the 7000 print run was a lie ,yeah im good.

1. It is nature of the beast --- without it, you wouldn't be here today with all the knowledge you gathered.

2. I seen that happened a lot and a lot more frequent lately -- with BS limited print run. But on the flip side, with a name like Adam Hughes, I do not think he will risk with that gamble.

3. You only spend $40-$50 a week? damn, I want to be like you..

Well, you could be like this, but you would have to take a walk on about 99% of the stuff you post here

"take a walk on"?

Like I said many times before --- it is an addiction you don't want to have.

Why? You will work your ass off to support your addiction. And if your addiction helps you via the "recycling fund" process, there is no point of return except going cold turkey - not seeing any comic related movies and so forth.

I get a kick out of the stuff I waited "the entire year" for. It is one of those rush you can't buy on a daily basis. It is once a year thing!

But then again, if someone stops me with the "$40-$50 weekly spending on comic books" way back when ---- I would have not have this "problem" now.

The only comic books out there that numbered -- Marat Mychaels' Do You Pooh? series. (Parody to Deadpool -- and it is pretty good series. Not cheap at all but good).

If it is NOT officially numbered --- which most are, they will get the "hideous green slab" or what my friends called it "It will get Green Lanterned" by some authorized company.

I would pay to have Stan Lee signed all of them and then CGC them ... then and only then, I might walk all over them!

X-mas comes early.

Got my order and them prints look even better in person.

One thing would have made them so much better --- numbered on each print, instead of just the Certificate of Authenticity.

Note to self -- take care of the cert and make sure it does go MIA by accident.

PS. If you are a fan of AH, you should get a set (if it is still available).

PPS. I like them so much, I might order a couple more just for "recycling fund" purposes.

The latest Previews listed Hughes as the variant cover artist for February's Thor.

These are limited to 100 sets --- and no cleavage and I will put down a friendly wager that it will be at least 2x-3x --- if someone decides to flip them not too long after they are SOLD OUT - at the moment, they might as well be that.

This baby was sold for $650-ish and over $1000 respectively. Again, no tatas showing and it was limited to 250. Unless I was mistaken, it was sold for 3x-5x.

Another thing, with a legion of followers from both aspects --- Star Wars and Adam Hughes, if the asking price is reasonable for the pending Star Wars set - I will bet that it will be sought after in the secondary market!

That is a nice cover. I like that a lot better than the X-men one that he did recently.

That Captain Marvel cover is awesome! I was hesitant to pre-order it w/o knowing the artist. But now I'm glad the universe aligned to be a great Hughes cover. Can't wait to get it.

This was an original (A commission I believed)

This was a computer-colored "200-Limited Edition" for Singapore Comic Con this year.

And with the popular of the SOLD OUT print, Marvel jumps in on the "incentive cover" for those who want in comic book version!
