Default The Rick and Morty Thread

This is truly one of the best shows on TV right now and could end up being one of the best animated shows of all-time by the time it's done.

Any other fans on here? Figured this could be used as a discussion thread and talk about our favorite characters/quotes, etc... as you can tell by my avatar, y'all can probably figure out who mine is, haha.

We have a handful of episodes left on the season, I can't wait to see how it all turns out. This past Sunday's episode was great, but my favorite episodes from this season were the season premiere (Rickshank Redemption) and the Vindicators episode.

Discuss.

All I know is that this needs a set, badly. The sketch card freedom would be rivaled only by Adventure Time.

I stop when they came up with that LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME character.
That is basically me and I realize how annoying it is.

The show was good from the start, but is now on another level. The writing and characterization is superior. This is some rare air...

I LOVE cartoons with Archer and South Park being two of my favorites. That being said, I am having a very tough time getting into Rick and Morty. Not sure why

they're also great for continuity stuff. that crack in the driveway has been there since the entire house transported during RIck's party.

R&M and Adventure Time are the two best animated shows running.

Today on how they do it. Plumbuses. Everyone has a Plumbus in their home. First they take the dinglebop, and they smooth it out, with a bunch of Schleem. The Schleem is then repurposed for later batches. They take the dinglebop and push it through the Grumbo, where the Fleeb is rubbed against it. It is important that the Fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice. Then a Schlommy shows up and he rubs it and spits on it. They cut the fleeb. There are several hizzards in the way. The blamphs rub against the chumbles. And the plubus and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with a regular old Plumbus

I just started it last week and I'm hooked. I used to be a huge fan of Family Guy and Futurama, but this blows it out of the water. I'm two episodes deep in season two and I just can't get enough of it. I'm wicked stoked for RI ComicCon this year because Justin Roiland is going to be there.

They had me with the first episode when Morty told Rick "Your a monster, you're like Hitler, but even Hitler cared about Germany or something."

That sounded like Slayer doing the end theme!
Hmm, 'No wonder you two are constantly fighting and behind schedule'
Roiland and Harmon?..
By the way an ex of mine went to high school w/ Dan Harmon here in Wisconsin.

Renewed my Netflix subscription and binge watched R&M over the last week. Honestly blown away by how good it is but I can't quite put my finger on why so I'll just say it's squanchy.
