Sucks, but my first thought was it's Austin Meadows time.

Well he has had at least 48 extra base hits in each of his 4 full seasons in the majors so definitely can drive the ball and have some power

Bigger contracts. Even if they get caught if they hit well some teams will still have no problem signing them. Players won't stop risking using until there is a MLB permanent ban on the first offense.

So disappointed in him, was one of my favorite players to watch.

With DUI Derby Kang stuck in another country and now Marte getting suspended it's shaping up to be a rough year.

At least Adam Frazier will get more playing time now

Correct. Meadows not even on the 40 man roster, Osuna first in line so Meadows still in the distance.

I think that Osuna will come up to play 1B in a platoon with Jaso. Cutch will move to CF for the time being. Bell will man RF and Frazier will be in LF (until Polanco comes back from injury).

On the bright side, I unloaded all of my Marte autos long ago so I'm not going to be sitting on a ton of valueless paper.

Cutch should go back to CF, Polanco to right, and let Adam Frazier rumage around in LF

Frazier is a terrible defender. Having him in LF regularly is probably not ideal. I suspect that Cutch will be in CF, hiding him somewhat. Polanco in LF since it is the most difficult outfield spot in PNC. RF is going to be some combination of Bell, Frazier, Jaso, Gosselin, and/or Osuna.

Definitely don't think Meadows is ready. And I also don't want to see him come up and lose that extra year of control. So they will need to get by until June when he can come up and alleviate the OF merry-go-round we are going to see.

This stinks. He is such a good player. I just bought his Bowman Chrome auto on Sunday thinking this would be the year that he would gain more national attention for his talent. I didn't think the national attention would come like this.

He wouldn't be able to play enough to lose that year.

Per Jeff Passan: "There are 183 days in a season to earn 172 days of service. With season two weeks old, Austin Meadows would fall just short of a full year."

He's also starting to pick up in AAA. 5 for last 16, HR, 5 RBI, only struck out once in last four games.

Wow Nandrolone, not even trying to hide what he's up to. What an idiot.

Oh that's right. Confused my dates on service time and super-2. Scratch that logic.

But on the other hand, he doesn't have a whole lot of experience above A ball. So realistically it's probably too soon for him to be promoted. I don't want to see him come up and struggle, only to be sent back down. Rather see him get a few months of AB's in Indy first.

Do I drop him in fantasy or keep a roster spot fit him?
