#ICYMI: Anderson Silva potentially failed an out-of-competition drug test given on Oct. 26, per the @ufc. He has been pulled from his scheduled Nov. 25 fight against Kelvin Gastelum.

IF true he needs to retire. He will still be the greatest of all time but this can't keep happening.

he is not even in the conversation anymore...this would be his 2nd failed drug test...his legacy is destroyed no matter the outcome....

The UFC is a bit different. I'm over 40 and need a lot to keep in good shape. With what I would like prescribed and the supplements I take,I would imagine some ingredients would be on a.banned list. I can't imagine an MMA fighter. However,if the intent is straight cheating,ok,ban him

I think GSP would disagree

dont' make excuses he is getting paid a good chunk per fight, either keep fighting and damage your legacy or just retire, can't be best ever if you are always cheating, look at bonds and aroid, i'd say gsp is now best ever no drug test issues got caught once and lost to Matt Hughes, 2 division champ

And he won both those rematches. Both in devestating fashion at that.

Dana White believes it's Demetrius Johnson. In my opinion, the fighter who revolutionized the sport from Many Mixed Arts to Mixed Martial Arts is Royce Gracie. He would take fights versus opponents who were much heavier than him. Would Silva or GSP take fights vs the Best in the heavyweight division - Not at 40 or more pounds lighter like Gracie did ! Gracie is the fighter who utilized Jiu-Jitsu to where if you are not currently skilled in this art, you will be be submitted.
The sport came from matching up : boxers, brawlers, wrestlers, kick boxers, Kong fu, etc. Gracie's skill set changed a one dimensional fighter to adapting to be well rounded in order to compete. The legacy that Gracie left is unmatched.
