It was a different time though. They didnít let all people play so he didnít have much talent. Itís not his fault he was terrible

I also would encourage people to look at some of the other game splits to get an idea how games were called back then:

Some games he threw it 20 times, on several occasions he threw it 45-50+ (including a career high of 62). That was an absurd total back then. I know of a Dallas Cowboys game back in 1960's when they ran the ball as a team over 60 times (can't recall which one, but that's unheard of nowadays).
