Problem with looking at raw stats like this is that it ignores a lot of other useful information.

What was the usage rate of both players? Raw +/-? Shooting %'s? Most importantly who won the series? Why ignore blocks and steals?

Lebron had impressive stats for sure but handled the ball way more, missed more big shots, and had less of an positive impact. Kd on the other hand had one of the most dominating finals performances in recent history with much lower usage. Let's not forget his defence either which was also of consequence. I'm biased for sure as a kd fan but considering the stats u mentioned and the ones I've added I do believe lebron was outplayed by kd in last year's finals.

Steals and blocks were a wash and Lebron shot a higher percentage

Paul out at least for game 6. Warriors lucking their way again with injuries to opponents.

I'd be interested to know how each performed when the other was defending one another. Gonna have to watch the series again sometime.

That sucks CP3 was the best player on the Rockets this series. He was balling!! It will look really bad if the Warriors can't win game six now even if Iggy is still out. On the flipside, Harden can really change the optics of his legacy with a big game and a win. I am rooting for two game sevens in these series. Will make for some good TV.

KD had a better True Shooting Percentage - .698 to .630

KD had a better Effective Field Goal Percentage - .639 to .615

KD had a better Offensive Rating - 139 to 126

KD had a better Defensive Rating - 114 to 117

LeBron had more turnovers 21 to 11

KD had a higher Game Score for the series - 30.3 to 29.6

I don't think you can say one way or another who was the best player in the series. I think it's pretty much a wash, but since the Warriors won I'm going with KD.

Time to see what James ďthe chokeĒ harden is really made of. So one year the warriors win a title with Kyrie and Love injured. Last year as they were getting pounded Kawhi gets injured. This year theyíre on the brink and Paul gets injured. Crazy luck.

Why is Chris Paul out for game 6? He told Marc Spears he would be good to go

To think that we're still in the conference finals without any certainty of which teams will prevail! This year's playoffs are turning out to be quite entertaining.

Chris Paul confirmed out for game 6.

Not saying this is what I think will happen BUT if Harden has a big game in a Rockets W at Oracle, he's going to change his entire reputation. It's actually as simple as that. This is his moment to silence his detractors. Will be very interesting to see how he handles this. Tough spot for him to be in because if he has another flat game like last night, the media will absolutely tear him apart.

I think this is going 7 games. I would love to see Harden go off in a Houston W though.

I watched the game last night with a bunch of Houston die-hards and Harden was just ripping their hearts out for the entire second half. He couldn't throw it into the ocean last night. It was brutal to watch. The other thing is Harden can't be missing from everywhere and then expect to get the bailout call if he drives to the basket. The refs recognize that strategy and aren't falling for it in the playoffs.

And that was my point. To simply say Lebron was outplayed is wrong.

CP3 was ruled out of this game quick. I’m guessing the injury is severe. I don’t see him making a game 7, if there is one.

I do. CP3 looked extremely hurt when he went down. He couldn’t even make it back down court.

If CP3 is not really hurt, I’m sure the Rockets don’t want this series to go to game 7 with a fully healthy Warriors squad. That is just my take.

The Rockets have CP3, Harden and Capela. Just because Capela isn't a household name doesn't make him a bum. He's a really good player, they have Eric Gordon off the bench, they have Joe Johnson who can't even get into games.

PJ Tucker, Trevor Ariza, these guys might not be stars (they aren't) but they aren't bums.

You guys who act like Houston has crap around Harden/Paul are just so ignorant.

I would assume that if the Rockets go down by 15+ in the third they just may throw in the towel early and rest the starters and prepare for game 7 at home.
Why risk a hobbled cp3 when you can give him two more days of rest to play at home and protect home court. It should be entertaining once the subs come in(If and only they come in a blowout game)
Maybe we can see the young - Javell show again.

I donít think so. He is a professional choker in the playoffs and I highly doubt that tonight is the night all of sudden he breaks out of his shell and go HAM.
I donít think heíll continue his streak of 20 missed threeís but I just donít see him as a vocal leader that can win tonightís game and carry the team on his back.

I think he'll play well, but I see a GS win by 18+ today. I'm yet to see GS play well for 48 minutes and now they have 2 chances to do that.

Not to mention, game 5 took some circus shots from Chris Paul and a poor final 2 minutes by GS just for Houston to win.

I'm open to being shocked but I think GS pulls it out in 7.

I too agree GS wins by at least 15+ tonight

But in a dangerous way I think the Rockets will allow this to happen and save their best for last at Game 7 in Houston

Houston's hard work during the regular season has earned them this golden opportunity

I predicted GS in 6 but since that can no longer can happen, I'm picking Houston in 7 as I simply did not think Houston could win 3 games against GS

Thats assuming CP3 plays game 7

If he does not and GS winds up winning this in 7 that would be a damn shame
