That big inning was all thanks to Upton beating that throw to second base! Little things really matter.

Unsung hero tonight that won’t show up in the box score...
Justin Upton.... busting it second on Pujols grounder would have been an inning ending double play and still 1-0, went on to score 5 runs and bust it open

^^^ so funny I just wrote the same thing

Glad I picked this a few weeks back, outside of the BBs he had a very nice MLB debut. Also just picked up his Emerald Future Threads Auto #/5 for $10 dlvd. on sportlots. If anyone is interested, his tie dye auto #/10 and base Future Threads Auto #/99 are still available on there for a fraction of the ebay going rate.

Great come from behind win by the Angels!!! Simmons deserves a lot of credit for the sac bunt that moved both runners over, which eventually led to the lead.

Anyone remember last year when a whole lot of dingbats were screaming about how the Angels farm system was garbage, the entire pitching staff was held together by a thread, Mike Trout should be traded or the Angels would permasuck?

Oh and then when Ohtani will be the worst ever and spend the entire season in the minors?

In the last few seasons, the Angels always started slow and dug themselves into a big hole in April. I’m really enjoying the start of this season!

This is a year where there is a very good chance something I never expected to happen, will happen. Two Angels players will be on a box of Topps baseball cards.

Best record through 16 games in the history of the franchise 13-3. Exciting times!

Angels fans are really spoiled! Trout is rocking, Pujols is going good and Sho is slated to pitch every Sunday from the start of the season through May! Fernandomania was crazy but to have THE GUY throw every Sunday is really cool!

I took a peek at his slash line... WOW. He's been doing it so quietly, not much talk about it either.

Argyle blanket giveaway today. I hear the game may sell out because of Ohtani pitching. Not sure the Angels ordered enough blankets and make have to give fans with no blankets a redemption for the blanket to get in the mail later (similar to how they've done in the past when they run out of the giveaways). And yes, they honor their redemptions within a month.

Thought about going but I expect tickets to be pricey with the Ohtani/Boston combo and it's supposed to be chilly in OC today. I'll probably just enjoy the show from home and try another Ohtani start.

Looks like a PITA just to get in tonight. Opening night was just as bad. Security lines were horrible.

Sox are up 9-1 top of the 4th and that Sea of Red is parting towards the exits.

Angels spanked by the Red Sox again. I guess the highlights for the Angels were Upton with 2 outfield assists?
