Kinda dig the "bright colors" along with "anime" style --- Rian Gonzales.

I tried to get on the commission's list a while back, but to no avail. I guess I will wait for some to pop up (via eBay or FB group)

What if something else comes up during that "payment plans" period and you also wanted it -- so you have a "payment plan" within a "payment plans"?

I think at this point, the only way the LBB prelim leaves my hands, is if an equally nice prelim or better is offered as trade. *looks at your gen13 swipe prelim*

Ain't it?! So much beauty in original art, makes me want to get more custom commissions done.

I totally agree. That is what I have started to do this past year. I have decided to get more commissions done and buy less printed books because the art is one of a kind.

VERY excited about news concerning Enormous by 215INK:

'Enormous' Comic Being Developed With Eye for Chinese Markets (Exclusive) | Hollywood Reporter

From Tim Daniels himself on the CGC Forum: "Hope you all dig the news. We've been working our asses off. There's more news coming-- this is just the beginning."

I have acquired a pretty nice collection of the books and absolutely love it!

Man, they keep digging into my wallet with all of these secret variants. I'm going to provide full disclosure to what I have spent money on (yes people, I could have bought other age 'keys', but they are not what I collect or speculate on. You can keep your comments about 'wasted' money to yourself. Just kidding - have at it, it was my money to spend, not yours - lol):

1) Venom #1 / Dell'Otto: (5) color copies, (1) B&W.

2) Venom #1 / Dell'Otto CGC 9.8 color (pre-order).

3) Venom #1 / Bagley: (1) full secret set (this is the one I was the least sure of, and cost the most - go figure).

4) Venom #2 / Dell'Otto: (1) full Symbiote set.

5) Ghost Rider #1 / Dell'Otto: (1) full secret set.

6) Doctor Aphra / Pichelli secret set: I think Aphra will be a major player moving forward in Star Wars and I admire Pichelli's work.

7) JL vs SS / Dell'Otto Bulletproof Comics secret set. If it's truly a WW vs Harley cover by Dell'Otto, that's a bonus. Any way you look at it, it's Dell'Otto.

All speculation, but by artists and of characters that I trust and like. At least one copy of each set/order (be it color, B&W or virgin cover) will stay in my collection. Again, I do realize that I could have bought all kinds of other things (OA, 'keys', sketches), but those aren't for me.

This was it though. No more until I start selling books which I've only talked about doing for the last 3 years - lol.

EDIT: Good Lord that's a lot of incoming books I hope the packaging is appropriate - fingers crossed!!!

Still about 50 minutes left --- and I am out!

It's hard to justified "A very gorgeous work" over "Adam Hughes' published original page" -- even if it is Betty and Veronica.

I guess it got help with this post along with CGC's and not to forget the great cause itself - VetTix.

I wonder how much of a write-off can you do with these type auctions.

Some idiots estimated this at $4,000. I emailed and said, I will paid the full asking price plus buyer's premium.

Got no reply.

Now with one more day left and it's at $7500 .... I am out!

This was done years ago for a charity auctions.

I think that was a year or two before the Spiderman piece he did for NYCC.
