Not overly surprised. 5-15 is really going to be all over the place. The players in that range all see to be love or hate.

ANd the shocker of the day:

The Los Angeles Lakers hosted LiAngelo Ball for a workout this week as he goes through the draft process.

But the Lakers are not believed to have any intentions to add Ball to their program, even for the G League.

Ball is the younger brother of Lonzo Ball and played in Lithuania this season.

"The NBA executives I have spoken to about LiAngelo Ball have all said that they don’t feel he’s talented enough to play in the G-League," said Jeff Goodman.

Sixers gonna take Donte at 26 I bet.

Someone's gonna get a steal at Lonnie esp if he slips past 15-16.

Feel like Philly is going to end up trading one of their picks for veteran depth.

Philly has five picks I believe. I see them moving at least one first round pick and probably picking a couple of foreigners to stash for a couple of years.

Oh btw... I am doing some writing for Fourth Quarter Sports. I do a lot of draft analysis. If you have a second check out my below post about Mohamed Bamba and his draft stock.

For sure. Although who knows what they'll do with their current GM situation.

Can we bypass the Finals and go straight to the draft?

I personally think it’s to much to give up.

They are a mess right now. If they stay at ten I like Mikal Bridges going to philly.

I think it's a smokescreen. There's someone else they want.

After gandering at another mock, I would like the Wolves to package Wiggins and maybe a future 1st to move up high enough to get Knox. And keep pick 20 for another role player. I'm dreaming of course lol

Problem is you can't move Wiggins with out taking a really big contract back. None of the teams with top 15 picks would really be in the position to do that.

Philly has 6 picks and can't see them trading either first rounder for veterans unless you're talking Kawhi.

So basically the Wolves are in a state of abyss if Wiggins is immovable

Which means they'll trot out the same roster next season and have the same predictably disappointing results. Go figure.

Not immovable. But they need to move for someone like Kyle Lowry (just an example) and his contract. It's gonna have to be a contract for contract move.

Wolves need a new coach if they want to succeed.

Hey guys, check out my Mikal Bridges Draft profile. What do you think? Please follow the blog I write for.... fourthquartersports.org. All me articles have the name B. Doody.

With the NBA Draft being headlined by one and done freshmen, Mikal Bridges comes into the draft ready to contribute from day one. Bridges has been a contributor all three years at Villanova while winning two national titles. The Villanova Junior has 116 collegiate games under his belt and that experience should be beneficial for any team he plays for.
Bridges has the potential to be the prototypical 3 & D player that every team covets in the modern NBA.

Standing 6'7" with a wingspan of 7'0", Bridges has the length to guard shooting guards, small forwards and many power forwards. His long arms allow him to get into the passing lanes and contest jumpers. He should be able to contribute defensively from year one, which is very rare for a rookie. Offensively, the 6'7" wingman can shoot the basketball from deep. This past season at Villanova he hit 43.6% of his threes on 6 attempts per game. This past season Bridges shot 51.4% from the field and 85.1% from the line, which shows how consistent of a shooter he is. He really looks to take good shots in the flow of the offense. He knows himself as a player and doesn't try to be someone he isn't. He is a limited yet smart ball handler, with a 2.4-1.0 assist to turnover ratio. Bridges went from 10 PPG to almost 18 PPG from his sophomore year to his junior year.

Bridges stands 6'7", but weights in at only 210 pounds. He will need to add muscle mass to compete better both offensively and defensively. Added strength would allow Bridges to attack the basket more and not rely on someone else to get him his shots. Right now he is a straight line dribbler who goes predominantly right. He could use a summer of ball handling drills to really focus on creating his own shot. Bridges is already 22 and there is some worry that he has fully maximized his potential while at Villanova.

Bridges is a lock to be a lottery pick. I could see him going as high as eight to the Cleveland Cavaliers if LeBron James stays and the team wants to compete now. Bridges would be ready to help a contender who has a deadly ball handler. The Sixers at pick 10 seem like a great match as well. The 76ers need another deadly wing shooter who can defend. Simmons would get the ball to Bridges in open space to knock down his shot. At pick 11 the Charlotte Hornets could use a vertical wing with range to give Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard space to work. The Los Angeles Clippers with the 12th and 13th picks are just looking to add talent. Bridges is the perfect floor spacer and defender to create some versatility for Doc Rivers.

No updates in this thread for a few days. I am dying, can’t wait for the draft.

Do you guys really think Doncic will fall to 4? Outside of Ayton (at least I think he is the shoe in #1) it seems like this is going to be one exciting draft!

Magic had Kevin Knox in for a workout. Can't see them taking him with pick 6 but I could see them trading down for a couple of late lottery picks.

I can see him slipping to 3 or 4 but don't think he'll get past that. Ayton is a lock for #1 for me too.

I saw that Knox was working out for the Magic. Clippers had been talking about trading up so maybe the magic are looking at players in the 12 and 13 range.

The Raptors are working out Kassius Robertson, Andrew Rowse, Darius Thompson, Jacobi Boykins, Cameron Reynolds and Justin Tillman today.

Maybe they trade him back to Cleveland for Kevin Love...

If Luka Doncic falls to #4 I could see the 76ers trading up to get him. They'd definitely have to take on Parsons contract and have to give up a young piece (Fultz/Saric) plus #10 and #26.

I think it's worth it and I think that Luka's and Ben's games would compliment one another very well especially since Luka is a much better shooter and shot creator.
