And that's cool. It's just not something I'd do for 31 lbs of bullion.

Not that the cost of shipping is the issue here.

the paper silver will always be better for the short term or the lower budget, but there is those that may argue that having the raw metal in hand has its own appeal. I myself have just started to play with the idea of silver and I will be a small player till I at least i feel it out. I much rather have metal in my hand than a piece of paper.

That's a good method, too. What % would they pay you?

Goldmasters Precious Metals at GoldmastersUSA.com

You have to click on their buying prices.

Used them many times both ways. Haven't in the past 3 years but I've never had an issue.

I'd rather have in hand as well. Seeing is believing as they say.

Thanks for the link, but I can't find it... On my phone.

Roughly what % do they pay for gold and/or silver? Are we talking close to spot?

Is this a fact?

Also, can you walk it in to them? And is there any limit?

I wouldn't feel comfortable putting anything in the mail.

Paying $17.64 for a 1 ounce bar when spot is $17.55

Yes you can deliver it to them, but there is a note about it in the guidlines about shipping to them.

It's not hard to read this yourself. It's in the bottom right of the homepage where it says buying prices for silver.
