Minimum order?

Just PM me and we can negotiate a price. Thanks!

PSA: Nordy's sale is cranked up to 75% off. Some nice deals.

Question... I saw port sale with just under 2,000 cards and the cost to ship was around $500...

Is that accurate? if i decided to ship them all to my home address it will be $500 on top of the port price?

I just canceled my 45% and approved a 60% sale. I think people will find literally every card in there to provide profit potential. If you like his, check mine out.

Yes, but people don't normally buy ports to ship home. They buy them to resell on site. What you're seeing as the shipping cost is the embedded 25cents attached to every card that you only normally see in "Advanced Resellers Mode."

Precisely. Ports that are actually worth shipping would likely cost so much that $500 is negligible. That said, ports like that aren't usually sold, but instead liquidated through sales.

Nice job! I bet some other ones were picked up before I had the chance or else I would have bought them.

I don't even collect soccer, but I had to buy a couple from you. Great prices!

Good luck with sale.

Are the sales usually pretty effective? I'm watching some of you sell hundreds at a time and figured I would take a stab at one. What is the magic percent to get the needle moving? Starting my first one here in a few minutes at 25% to see what type of traction it gets.

I've been on COMC now since January and really enjoying how easy it is.

There are really no sellers where a 25% off sale would even entice me to look. I assume you have an 80% auto-accept on, so unless you're selling $200+ cards, an extra 5% isn't going to do much.

To answer your question, there is no magic number for all sellers, but there are magic numbers for specific sellers. I might buy 10 cards from someone with a 40% off sale before I even looked at a 90% off sale (looking at you, RPSportsCards). In your case, I don't have much advice because on a number because I don't buy/sell what you're selling.

No worries, appreciate the feedback. Sold 10 items so far since the sale started so I'm pretty happy, lol.

My son wants me to list his rare Pokémon cards. Do those sell okay on COMC? Also is COMC pretty strict on the condition of them? I noticed there is some white around the edges on the backs of a decent amount of them.

1. If your prices are already good, sales definitely improve exposure, so that's probably a factor here.
2. In my limited experience, Pokemon cards don't sell very well directly though COMC, but will sell though Ebay and Amazon to a degree. Hopefully mjohnatgt will chime in here, he's the resident expert for this stuff.
3. Yes, they are strict with Pokemon cards and all with white on the backs will likely be listed with "play wear".

Thanks for the help! He has a crap ton of them just sitting in binders and boxes and when I told him that he could sell the rare ones and buy something else, he was pumped.

Peterose, slugger, swipe, notsublime, rabs and everyone else, thank you. I appreciate it.

For the person asking above about whether sales work, just know COMC buyers are trained to know when a sale is good or not. So so many people run garbage sales with jacked up prices.

On the flip side, if you run a true blowout type sale you will see tremendous action. I have sold 600+ in my sale that I started last night. Honestly, I'm surprised even more haven't gone but they are trickling out at this point.

you have/had some good prices and running the sales to boot definitely helps. i might go back for more if i can make some sales myself today. congrats on how well your sales are going.
