Default Bad possible injury for Bryce Harper just happened

After a long rain delay the game started. Bryce racing to beat out the play to first. Stepped on bag, foot slipped right through the base and foot got stuck in ground. Help carried off with no pressure on his left leg. Looked very awkward, was grabbing the front below his kneecap

Hyper-extended his knee. Don't know if it matters, but I didn't see any twisting.

hopefully just a minor hyper extension, hope it isn't anymore knee surgery. He's beginning to be a lot like Larry Walker.

As much as I don't care for his attitude, I hope he is ok and will be able to come back quickly. He is a star, and a star in the middle of a playoff push, he needs and wants to be on the field.

As far as the injury itself it looked really awkward, I know he was grabbing at the front, but if you see it in slow motion, I can't see how he didn't sprain or tear the LCL.

I was thinking possible cartilage damage on the inner knee, and LCL injury. Whatever it ends up being, it doesn't look good.

Apparently not. There's plenty of people on twitter who think so as well.

No twist... no side to side... that is my one and only hope.

First question to him... 'you feel a pop?'
