I wonder if when they get their cards to sign, they start with 1/1, move to 1/5, then 1/25 and so on or the reverse order. If the 1/1 is the last maybe your boy was cracking a few cold ones with the boys while signing on an off day lol.

I've wondered the same thing. But my gut tells me that the 1/1 and SSP's are probably signed last when the athlete is most tired or bored.

With that said, looks like Benintendi had a stroke while signing this card.

Horrible auto. Anyone worried that the auto will fade quickly especially signed on plastic?

The more I look at this card the more concerned I get with. If you take the zoom over the auto section the immeadiate thing to notice is the 'trace' like auto. However the more I look at it, the more it already looks wiped. notice the red hue underneath the auto......hmmmm

It would be interesting to see how the other 1/1 photo variation auto from the set looks. Have to keep a watch for that one.

I know it's not the same player but still. I pulled a Blue Derek Hill Auto from 14 draft and at the time, there was still a decent amount of "hype" around him. His auto was literally traced and it looked like it was done a couple times. I called topps and obviously we know how that turned out. I was told to kick rocks on a replacement because they couldn't know for sure if it wasn't done after the fact. Really crummy. I can't sell the card for $1 cause it looks like I tried to mess with it. The fact that it's probestein selling it is why people are looking the other way. I'm sure it came out of the box that way but still. Where's the QA

Agreed. Not one card I have seen (even the Trouts) makes me want to go out and buy a box.
