Default 2015-16 Panini Replay case break - Dr. J, Kobe, Pippen, Penny 1/1

Don't bust much sports stuff, mainly do non-sports. But when ebay had their 15% off coupon on Star Wars day, I was looking for something to buy. I knew this product was blasted here on BO at the original SRP (and for good reason!), but I thought at a cheap enough price it was an interesting gamble. At $425/case, I decided to give it a try. Of course, after I hit the BIN, I did some more research and saw just how bad a lot of cases were, and wished I had not bought it. But I got lucky, and got a really good case.

So there you have it. Yes, the hand numbering is terrible... especially for cards that are machine numbered to exactly the same number. And the placement of most of the hand numbering is bad as well. Also surprised at how many of the one touches were scratched coming out of the box, which is a bummer since you should keep the cards sealed in them. But overall I was happy with the break, since I hit some good cards.

Best case of this I've ever seen. The Kobe is my favorite - good old fashioned buyback. Thanks for sharing.

The Kobe and the Erving are very cool. I like that they did a buyback type design. Congrats OP. I haven't seen cards like those in any of the breaks.

All the other cards I think are ruined. They took cards that were already autographed and should have had stamped serial numbers on them. They then took a sharpie and wrote a random serial number on it. The only time I would think those cards have much value is if they never made it to circulation and someone needs a copy to complete a set. Otherwise the "replay stink" is stuck on these cards and that diminishes the value greatly IMO.
