Default Anyone Ever Live Stream Games, or use Twitch?

Ive always wanted to, but get easily frustrated trying to figure out how to use them.

Ive tried a few speed runs, never close to the record though, but I enjoy them.

What route did you go to broadcast it?

Haven't clicked that link yet but I assume you used stream/pc not a gaming system?

No worries. I figured it was PC, but was hoping you said a system. Trying to figure out how to on a Ps3/Ps4. I have a video capture that I can use on my PS1/PS2/PS3(if I fix it),Sega/N64/SNES and old systems.

But I haven't actually set it up to try it.

Seems like its built in on PS4 now, though I don't have any experience with it personally.

Super easy and works fairly well. Obviously doesnt work as well as capturing through a nice desktop and you can't customize your Twitch or stuff capturing straight through the PS4. But for bare bones streaming it does the job.

I streamed the newest Unreal Tournament for a little while on Twitch using OBS, but I was getting a ton of input lag.Very evident, annoying input lag. Lol. I wonder if OBS Studio would solve that issue for me.

I still upload frag/kill highlights pretty consistently on my Youtube channel, which might be another avenue you can try with regards to live streaming.

I realize this is an older thread and you may have figured it out but if you are streaming from the ps4 you can press the share button on your controller and then "broadcast gameplay". After that you can select the platform you wish to broadcast on; Twitch, Youtube. It will ask you to link to whichever service you select and it should start working.

You should have the option to broadcast straight from your system. I know on Xbox you can start a broadcast on Mixer or Twitch straight from the system itself.
