I thought it would be a tough game 1... not even... then game two everyone said Lightning will hit back since that is what happened with the Bruins... not even close. Idk maybe they will show up since the Caps have a weird history with losing at home sometimes but as long as they play as aggressive as they have, even when behind... i dont know if the series will go past 4

It just looks like the Caps are playing with house money after they beat the Pens. It's like there's no pressure on them at all now.

Evenly matched first period for the most part. Tampa looks much better. Holtby not helping his own cause with the tripping penalty.

So true... idk what it is but they are not as good in home ice. Hopefully they can reset for thurs' game. They looked sluggish and lazy with the puck, didnt check well, didnt take advantage of the power plays...idk smh

I would just like to know what the Dept of Player Safety geniuses are looking at. They deemed the Stralman hit on Wilson to be OK - if Wilson does that, he gets 10 games. Anton freaking left his feet and jumped into Wilson's head and into the boards- how is this OK? I understand refs missing calls on the ice because the game is fast, but when you have a review and can stare at over & over and still get it wrong, I just don't get it. Why bother, we will just pick & choose who we fine and suspend.

Indeed he was definitely locked in last night, during his post game interview they asked him about his back to back saves off of Scheifele, his answer was he was out of position after the initial save had to recover.............LOL good stuff!!

These last 2 games further prove goaltending wins in the playoffs, last night Fleury stole the game for Vegas and tonight Vasilevskiy did the same for Tampa Bay.

I'm convinced that there is no home ice advantage in this series for either team, LOL

I expect that to change Sat. night, the Lightning have been very good at home this season and I don't see them losing a 3rd straight at home, if that does occur the Caps will be seriously challenged to win at home.
