Nah it's just that we all know some of the Judgeheads are particularly sensitive. One might say they are cupcakes or snowflakes and would take facts thrown their way as offensive.

Huge game for Arenado. Now 7th in RBI to add to about every other top 10 stat, but we all knew the RBI lead would come eventually.

Has been for three years too. Machado sells for double what Arenado cards go for, even though Arenado is better by almost every single statistical measure both offensively and defensively.

His higher end stuff is definitely getting some love. 2012 Sterling Canary 1/1 sold for $1,250, 2010 Bowman Paper Red 1/1 $900, 2016 ASG Laundry Tag Booklet 1/1 $500.

Glad I stepped in hard over the offseason while it was fairly cheap. Criminally underated prices still. Not sure who would combat him for NL MVP at this point honestly...

#6 in NL AVG
T- #2 NL HR
#3 NL RBI
#6 NL Runs
#3 NL OBP
#1 NL SLG
#2 NL OPS
#5 NL Hits

And don't forget about the NL Gold Glove!

People will always combat the "But Coors Field!" mantra. He does have a massive split between home and road this year to be honest, but his road numbers are still very, very good.

He's up there right now in MVP talks, if the Rockies turn it around and win the division he should be a heavy favorite. I know Lorenzo Cain is leading in WAR, but this is why WAR never fully is the go to for MVP's. I think Freddie Freeman, Cain and Arenado are in the mix right now for position players.

Really? You must not be paying attention to the NL this year. Freddie Freeman is the CLEAR favorite right now. Arenado is awesome and having another great year. But to say you honestly donít know who would combat him is silly. Or you are just severely blinded by your favoritism towards the guy.

Freddie Freeman is certainly on the short list with Arenado. You are calling Tex out for favoritism while committing the same offense by saying Freeman is the "CLEAR favorite" while having a Braves logo as your picture. There is no clear favorite right now.

PS. Arenado 3-3 with another bomb

Why does it matter if I have a Braves logo? Yes, I love the Braves, and love Freddie Freeman. It isn't just my opinion that he is the favorite for MVP. It is the consensus opinion of almost every single analyst. So, that makes him the clear favorite at this point. Also it has taken a cooled off week by Freeman with a scorching hot streak from Arenado to even be having a discussion. Both are great hitters, but Freeman is still the clear favorite. Especially when you factor in Arenado's splits away from Coors.

I had no idea Freeman was doing so well (don't follow the Braves). At first I thought you were being a blatant homer, but he is having a monster season and crushing Arenado for OPS+. The H/A splits are pretty clear when comparing these two players as well. You forced me to do some research, and I am with you that Freeman is the better MVP candidate at this point.

It's all good. They are both awesome hitters. I think they are also both highly underrated by everyone who doesn't watch them regularly. I'm interested to see what Arenado does when he is a FA. Could end up in the same type conversation as Harper and Machado this year.
