With James Gunn confirming that it was Adam Warlock in the Cocoon seens in one of the glass containers in the Collectors gallery, I expect these following issues to see an increase in value and scarcity increase as well. These four would be solid pickups anytime soon IMHO.

Fantastic Four #65 - the HIM story line begins in Fantastic Four #65 (He was HIM before he was Adam Warlock)
Fantastic Four #66 - Continues HIM storyline
Fantastic Four #67 – HIM/Adam Warlock appears in Fantastic Four #67
Marvel Premiere #1 - First appearance as Adam Warlock

I would add Thor #165 to that list as well.

Just re-read this thread. Very impressed with all of the picks!!! Only 4 books (IMO) didn't have an increase in sales and 3 of those were mine from post 101. Lol

I love this type of thread

I feel the following New Teen Titans books are undervalued books that you should be going after now. Most can be found dirt cheap outside of issues #2 (1st Deathstroke) and #44 (1st Nightwing). There are a handful of key issues in this run that literally are dirt cheap now, but have massive potential. There is a Nightwing TV show in the works, and I seriously believe DC will be pulling a lot of material from this run of New Teen Titans, so start getting them now as I think in a years time, they'll be going for a lot more. Might see crossover with the Arrow TV show as well as the Flash TV show. These issues have a LOT of 1st appearances, and most people overlook them, so get on it while they're cheap and nobody realizes how undervalued they are right now. Most of these characters are not household names, but two years ago, neither was Deathstroke and we've all seen what's happened with issue #2 of New Teen Titans

Key books to get IMHO: #2, #44 - duh.. but also

First book you will want to snag is DC Presents #26, already somewhat pricey, but it's the first appearance of the New Teen Titans.

Followed by New Teen Titans Annual #2 - This has the 1st appearance of Harbinger and Vigilante II

New Teen Titans #3 1st appearance of Fearsome Five, Gizmo, Mammoth, Psimon, Shimmer.
New Teen Titans #4 1st appearance of Arella and the Origin of Trigon
New Teen Titans #5 1st appearance of Trigon
New Teen Titans #7 Origin of Cyborg
New Teen Titans #14 1st appearance of Houngan, Phobia, Plasmus
New Teen Titans #16 1st appearance of Alley-Kat-Abra, Captain Carrot, Fastback, Pig-Iron, Rubberduck, Yankee Poodle
New Teen Titans #21 1st appearance of Baron Winters, Brother Blood, Harbinger, Monitor, Night Force
New Teen Titans #25 1st appearance of Masters of the Universe
New Teen Titans #26 1st appearance of Terra
New Teen Titans #29 1st appearance of Adam Chase
New Teen Titans #32 1st appearance of Thunder, Lightning
New Teen Titans #38 Origin of Wonder Girl

I'm curios on DC Presents #26. They seem to be going for about $210 graded 9.2 and about about $65ish ungraded. My numbers might be a bit off but anyways what kind of increase do you anticipate?

I've been following a lot of these threads recently trying to learn a bit more. Thanks for all the useful info.

Both books will heat up after Age of Ultron is released.

I've been getting a lot of PM's lately asking for which books people should be looking to pick up, I've added the following books to this list

Black Panther #1 (1977 Kirby)
Captain Marvel #28
Daredevil #168 - 1st Elektra
Batman Adventures #12 - 1st Harley
X-23 #1 variant
Batman #1 New 52
X-Men #129
Thor #132
Preacher #1, #2, #8, #13, #42, #66
Walking Dead #100 2nd and 3rd prints - 1st Negan, lower printed 2nd and 3rd prints.
All of these have potential to resell very well in high grades. The key is finding them, and getting good deals on them raw.

Outcast is a good one to be picking up as well, I can see that book selling like hotcakes when the TV show hits. Not sure about Dark Tower.

Here's the cover to Titans #3, coming in September. Looks like it supports your theory

Just as I thought for the past few years, Warlock is coming to the Marvel Universe, these books are solid pickups.

Fantastic Four #67 - first FULL appearance of the Cocoon, HIM cameo

THOR #165 - first FULL appearance of HIM

Marvel Premiere #1 - the High Evolutionary gives Him (who has emerged from the cocoon more evolved) a new costume, a new name (Men shall call you Adam Warlock), a new world of Counter Earth, and most importantly of all, the powerful soul gem that we all associate with Warlock. That issue was the day Warlock appeared first, and should be given a lot more attention than the Him books, although they are also keys to this character and I think all three books will be sought out by collectors/fans and could see huge increases in the next couple years.

I could see some heating up on this one soon, especially given they're using the character in the new Ant Man Wasp movie.. Keep you eyes out for it, it's cheap right now.

First appearance as Black Goliath is Power Man # 24 (April 1975), that's another one to look for.

If Captain America becomes Nomad in Infinity War (And I think it's looking that way) this issue may see some heat.
