as a buyer this happens to me a lot...but i never back out of the deal, thats just wrong

but im definitely expecting the "wanted to win more of your items, but didn't", which i can understand for auction, even though it's not a good enough reason to back out. but all of my items that the guy wants are OBO lol

My favorite was "My neighbor hacked my account and bid on the card." My phone call with ebay was real fun when you can look at his feedback and every single one was for sports cards. I asked so you really think a guy who only buys cards on ebay had his neighbor hack his account and buy a card? Ebay being the idiots they are let him keep the card and paid me from their money. So that guy ended up with a refund and the card.

This one isn't for a non paying buyer, but rather an excuse from a seller. My boyfriend's cousin had bought a cell phone from a guy on ebay. He listed the condition as Brand New and stated in the description it was still sealed in the box. When she got the phone, it was not in a box and it was destroyed beyond belief. It had water damage and a cracked screen. It wouldn't turn on or charge. It was useless. She messaged the seller about it and he said he couldn't offer a replacement or a refund because he had cancer.

Yeah, as of now anytime I get a bid and no pay, I just immediately put them on my blocked bidder/buyer list. Buyers don't understand that it takes money and considerable time to list these items so and even though you can get the listing and final value fees back the time is lost. Just as a buyer would expect to get the item they bid on, we as sellers expect to get paid.
