I think it was Connie Mack who first suggested it.....but whoever put the DH rule into place. I would spend that hour trying to talk them out of that horrendous rule. If I couldn't talk with them.....second choice would be Tony Gwynn.

Because an automatic out is much more interesting. Heres what the nl should do. Raffle off the 9th spot in the batting order to a fan in the seats. They couldnt hit any worse.

I think Madison Bumgarner would like a word with you. But I do understand your point. I just happened to like the different strategies that I see in the NL more so than the AL. Plus if a pitcher beans someone on purpose, he doesn't get to wuss out and make one of his teammates take the retaliation. Just my opinions!

That one beer could easily turn into an epic bacchinalian adventure that you could only experience with one of the truly most famous people in the history of the planet at his moment in time. Now, if you could only use the time travel to grab Ruth and then go hook up with Jim Morrison....
