I just got done with a case of hobby chrome and had the same gold wave auto in my fourth box and was thinking I'd made a huge mistake with the case plus two more. 5th box yielded an Ohtani refractor auto, or so I thought... it's a different photo with a photo studio looking backdrop so I didn't think much of it until it dawned on me the serial number wasn't #/499. Turned out to be a purple refractor. Should've stopped there because the remaining 7 boxes weren't impressive but I was able to complete my set.

The Superstar Sensations are tough but evenly distributed at one per box but I was fortunate to have pulled the others from a handful of retail breaks.

Ouch... I was typing my post when you finished box 4, by the time I was done you were already through the 11th box. Kinda rough when you think about it and there's 74 rookies in the auto checklist alone. I had one insert auto and another 4 #ed autos but none of the other hyped rookies. I guess I beat the odds because it wasn't great but it surely wasn't that bad.

Prices seem low this year. Even landing an Acuna, Torres, Albies, or Robles base auto doesn't even pay for 1 box. Acuna color isn't doing bad, but man after just searching eBay....some nice singles to be had for cheap.

3 boxes into my second case and I have redemptions for Devers & Acuna base autos. Acuna was packaged with a Max Fried auto so he was an extra. Also had both case hits in the same pack of my second box, Dominic Smith variation & Victor Robles red Rookie Debut medallion #3/5. I really should stop but I'm a slave to ripping whether it's good or bad...
