Default Do I even bother shipping?

“Since you couldn't be bothered to post a scan of this card's back, despite having taken the effort to modify the listing since I requested you do so, I will simply return the card if I am in any way unsatisfied.”

No dealings with the username that bought the card but I did get a message from another account asking for a back scan that I forgot about.

Also never modified the listing

RUN! I would never ship to that asswipe.

Not that the original request itself is unreasonable, but he sounds like a nut job.

Just a complete headache waiting to happen,

Sounds like yet another lovely eBay buyer who knows the ins and outs of eBay's buyer-biased policies. I'd like his username so I can block.

I agree about the scan. Don’t remember what day it was requested. It was from the same guy but a different username

There is another option if you really want to make the sale. Send him a scan of the back of the card now and see if its acceptable to him. If so, I doubt he'd return it. If not, just refund him and relist the card, maybe with a picture of the reverse side to begin with, which is pretty much always a good idea.
Good luck!

I agree with what you're saying but why would the buyer buy the card in the first place if he is so concerned about the back of the card? If it was a major concern of his and the seller didn't post a pic of the back, then he shouldn't have bought it in the first place. The buyer's tactics seem very suspicious to me. You are right that the op should scan and send a pic of the back now and send it to the seller before he ships it. I have a feeling that if the buyer doesn't like the pic he will neg.

I wouldn't even bother. Sounds like you will be wasting your time.

Sounds like shipping the card to that guy is a problem in the making. I would steer clear

Maybe the buyer was burned from a previous purchase. See what he has to say by sending him a pic of the back and then decide after he responds. He may have come off as defensive but he may be a honest buyer.
