This game didn’t change his ranking for me.

False, the East is so weak it really kills his 8 straight trips to the finals narrative.

Lebron does have that bronze medal that Jordan will never have.

It's called context. If you're going to take into account the strength of the East, also take into account the strength of the teammates.

You mean the teammates that outplayed boston?

His competition is pure trash in the east and has been for years. Why do you think he's 3-5 in the finals? I don't even know why people attempt to argue this.

I am not going to let this year totally change my opinion, he had to carry the team I get it, of course his stat and everything are going to be great, his team is not very good I will agree with that. But he probably loses in the 2nd round of the western conference playoffs if not the 1st round so no I am not going to buy into the "he carried his team to the finals garbage " The east is a joke. I am not saying he is not unreal, I am saying I am not letting this playoff push change my opinion. I have him at number 3, now if he were to beat the warriors, yes he would go up to number 2 for me and have a shot at number 1.

Teammates were pretty strong. Wade/Bosh for 4 of them, Love/Kyrie for 3 others. This year he only had love, but played a boston team missing 2 stars. Not Lebron's fault they were hurt, but it has to be considered.

Congrats! You are a reasonable person who isnít irrationally effected by the emotion of the moment.

As usual, lebron was incredible tonight. Now, if he can beat the rockets/warriors.... we can have a legitimate conversation about whether heís had the greatest career.

Does that mean we can consider the fact that the second best player on the Cavs tonight is a guy who had open heart surgery?

I agree if he beats the Warriors, but I just don't believe in James Harden and the Rockets yet.

When did they outplay Boston? For a combined 4 quarters in 7 games? Tell me which teammates consistently outplayed Boston lmao. Because it certainly wasn't Love. It definitely wasn't JR. If we have to talk about how "well" George Hill played a few games ago when he had 14 points on 4-11 from the field, something isn't right. His teammates did not outplay Boston.

The starting backcourt for the Cavs was averaging 9 points a game in Boston before this game. When you're consistently getting around 20 points a game from 4 different Boston players, never say to me the Cavs teammates played better.

What I see here is an older generation on these forums with nostalgia.

And the guy with open heart surgery outplayed everyone on the Celtics (other than Tatum). What does that say about the Celtics?

He was not incredible. He played poorly for his standards. (waiting for a lebron fan to post "stats") This was a case of Boston losing. They were grade A trash. 7-40 3 pointers. R u kidding me?

I agree with the dude before. He wins another he passes Larry Bird in my opinion. However still leaves a bad taste in mouth because bird didn't jump from team to team.

Not sure why Lebron fans ignore this. If I swap hands in the middle of a poker game do I get praised for it?

You mean the team that was 9-0 at home this post season?

The team that was 4-0 against Giannis at home this post season?

The team that was 3-0 against Joel Embiid this post season?

3-0 against Ben Simmons this post season?

It says that they were a pretty damn tough team to beat in Boston.

Very true. 35/15/9 on 50% shooting is poor by his standards. Which is why he's GOAT.

Oh do tell what the Cavs outside of LeBron shot from 3. I'd love to hear. I actually already know.

Please don't try and argue with me about the Cavs sans LeBron outplayed Boston hahaha that's just silly. Not even an opinions, just false.
