I'm okay with this... as long as he is not on the Vikings, Bears or Lions, I don't care any more.

There is no way this is happening.. if he even comes back (which is unlikely), he will not be a back up.. that would be dumb.. he has plenty of money so shouldn't be worried financially

Is trading Vick a possibility? I could see them signing Favre and getting all the value they can out of Vick.

I wouldn't agree with the move personally though and I don't think Andy Reid would do that.

And I agree, Favre would not come back to be a backup.

There is no such thing as plenty of money, if he can get 3 million dollars and a good chance to get a little playing time I would say its possible.

+1, the guy's ego is too huge!

I used to respect the guy and appreciated his talents and achievements (breaking marino's td record) but all the shenanigans have got him tainted.

Someone should have late-hit this guy and which would have ended all the teases, rumors (funny, but I don't wish that upon him!)

I think he would come back. I didn't read the article, but I believe he loves the game. If that means riding the bench but still being a part of the "action" and "locker room comraderie", I think he'd do it. Time to start stocking up in D-Jackson

O God, I hope this won't happen. We have made some bold moves before but this would be plain stupid.

After the year that Vick had, there is no way the Eagles trade Vick before the start of this season.

If the Eagles sign Favre, it likely means that Kolb would be traded. Although Favre would be a backup to Vick, 2 things: #1, There is a very good chance Vick gets hurt and misses some games, which means Favre would play (Vick has only played a full 16 games once in his career). #2, Favre has a great relationship with Andy Reid, which goes back to their days in Green Bay. That could be a factor in all of this as well.

Kolb is already traded (barring making it official- see: him looking for real estate in AZ, working out with Larry Fitz). The Eagles will NOT sign Favre, either though him and Andy are good friends.

Eagles may want to sign Brett Favre; Vick would be ‘honored’ - Shutdown Corner - NFLBlog - Yahoo! Sports

did you by any chance miss all the crap the packers and media did??? because your statement seems like you did.

Someone should have late-hit this guy and which would have ended all the teases, rumors (funny, but I don't wish that upon him!)
he was late hit a few times, but lets talk about what a tough SOB he has been for the last 200 games. simply amazing for any player, much less a QB.

mostly all you hear is the favre haters spewing nonsense somebody put in their small brain.
