Wow, shocking to see Sanchez at 5 considering the money people are shelling out for him. The only guy ahead of him that is more expensive would be McKay.

I think he's underrated on this list - but still overpriced on ebay - a lot of the 2017 Bowman guys are. Maybe with people focused on Draft now they might get down to normal levels.

I agree 100%. I'm no expert but my rank would be: Honeywell, McKay, Sanchez, Adames, Bauer

The consensus top 3 for the Rays, IMO, is Honeywell, McKay and Willy Adames--in whatever order you prefer.

Willy Adames is being undervalued by a good margin here.

Adjusted a lot.

Hard to get excited by Rays because they are so patient with players and they should be the exact opposite.

1. Braves
3. Padres
4. Phillies
5. Yankees
6. Dodgers
7. Reds
8. Brewers
9. Rays
10. Rockies
11 Cardinals
13. Nationals
17. Orioles
18. Pirates
25. Mets
26. Giants
27. Marlins
28. Cubs

It should be noted McKay is listed as a pitcher on their 2021 lineup card.

My top 5 is Honeywell - Adames - Sanchez - McKay - Bauers.

I don't know what to do yet with McKay, its fascinating that he and Ohtani are enterting the league around the same time, I prefer McKay's bat [I think] and Ohtani's arm. If I had to guess I'd say both end up pitching full-time and hitting only a couple games a week.

It's been nice seeing the Orioles farm system improve some over the last year or so. I really like Hays and Mountcastle. They just desperately need pitchers to develop. Hopefully Hunter Harvey can take some pointers from Dylan Bundy and come back from injuries to be an effective starting pitcher. I don't think he would be ready until 2019 though, so they really don't have any notable starting pitchers in the minors who could help this season unfortunately.

Quite the tumble of what was once a top system, thanks Dumbrowski

Also pretty sure Brannen is an OF, not a pticher

I think 2007 Bowman Chrome had a lot of International appeal which is helping to drive prices higher

Red Sox added.

Bottom line: Bleak with no help coming from this Top 10 cluster for the Red Sox and the pressure to do something on the front office.

3. Padres
4. Phillies
5. Yankees
6. Dodgers
7. Reds
8. Brewers
9. Rays
10. Rockies
13. Nationals
14. Cardinals
17. Orioles
18. Pirates
23. Marlins
20. Red Sox

The amount of money being spent on the 2017 prospects is hysterical. It shows people don't know how to prospect and want to get in the market really badly after seeing how the guys took off in 2017. It is zero surprise he is #5 on this list because that's how these lists work. It's not always about the lists but when non list guys or back end of the top 100 list guys are this high this early buyers should be very careful, especially considering I can't remember the last truly worthwhile Tampa Bay prospect who people made a killing on.

As for McKay, his value as Hunter Greene's value took major hits when they were declared only pitchers. Which sucks, but again it is what it is.

Yeah, it's insane. I've been collecting with a focus on prospects for 2 decades, albeit more for fun and not for flipping/profit, but I'm starting to get priced out. Paying out the nose for guys like Sanchez is lunacy as he's a TB prospect and he'll probably end up another 4th OF.

You are actually winning by getting priced out. Better to take stabs at $5-15 guys then guys with starting prices to $50+. The Jo Adell thing is nuts, Sanchez is high and all these dual threat guys becoming pitchers is a disaster waiting to happen for "prospectors." I almost feel like there should be prospecting etiquette lol. I think it's a shame that someone could get priced out of an 18 y/o Designated Hitter because someone types the word SP in the listing lol. Unreal, but funny.

This is what's hilarious to me. It's as if people heard this and immediately thought, "awww so he's (they're) not gonna become the first major two way star in baseball in the past century?! Not gonna be the next Babe Ruth.... UGH. I guess im all in on Othani then... he's definitely gonna do it."

Losing Flores hurt them big time (obviously), but the pitching in the top 10 isn't terrible. Chavis looks like he might just become a solid player.
