On the way home from the National my brother-in-law and I decided to stop off in Columbus for the Louisville Bats vs the Columbus Clippers game and I got a few pre-game IP autos in the process.

I was really happy to get Lindor, he's a guy I've been wanting to get for awhile but haven't had the opportunity. The guy sitting next to me wasn't going after Lindor and was gracious enough to get one of my duplicates signed for me, which makes it even sweeter!

Francisco Lindor - 2/2
CC Lee - 1/1
David Holmberg - 3/3

I can't get over how quickly Lindor's signature has gone downhill since he made it to Columbus. Still, awesome stuff.

It's certainly not as elaborate as some of the earlier versions, but I wasn't sure if was because it was pre-game and he was in a hurry or if that's just his new signature. I was just happy he signed pre-game since we weren't going to be able to stick around after the game.

This is the last time South Bend comes into town during the regular season, so unless they meet up in the playoffs last night will be the last time I see them this year.

My pleasure! I've been trying to get the last of my Ervin cards signed for a month and a half, so I was really surprised to be able to get them signed the day that your cards arrived.

I prep the blue waves the same way that I do a standard chrome cards by lightly rubbing the surface with a pink eraser. It's quick and easy and I have no problem with bubbling.

Okay cool. I thought the surface was rougher than a chrome, but when I took it out of the sleeve I realized I was wrong.. Haha. Thanks!

Not sure Ziegler would appreciate being placed so close to Dr. Andrews, but those are two very, very cool returns! Never seen an Andrews before, that's a great addition!

That James Andrews return is absolutely fantastic. If you don't mind my asking, which office did you send to?

Four returns this afternoon:

Al Kaline - 2/2 - 5 days - with $10 donation
JR Graham - 3/3 - 49 days - c/o Mississippi Braves
Courtney Hawkins - 2/2 - 15 days - c/o Winston Salem Dash
Joe Ross - 4/4 - 20 days - c/o Lake Elsinore Storm (postmarked from San Antonio)

I sent to Joe Ross at Lake Elsinore a day or two before his promotion to San Antonio so the team must have forwarded them.
