Maybe this is a sign that they are getting sick of the scamming. I like it. Now set up some rules on shipping times and we should be good to go.

I've never understood why getting a flat $50 instead of $48.25 was such a big deal anyway.
If the $1.75 you lose in fees is THAT important to you maybe you shouldn't be buying cards. Plus admit it, we all know what a headache the hobby would be if money orders, checks and cash through the mail were the only available payment options.

THe reason why Im asked for gift payment is usually because the seller is afraid I wont get my package or I might claim I never got it. So by sending gift, I can open a claim against them via paypal.
Ive had to do this a few times on here and havent had any problems except one whereby the card came damaged. Paid $120 for it and it must have been damaged in transit. I took the loss and moved on. |

It does say that you cant ASK for gift. Doesn't mean you can't do it at all though. Fair compromise I guess. I would never do gift under any circumstances but to each their own.
