Not sure the C's are strong enough to beat the Bucks at the moment.....

The East is not strong. I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto, Boston, Philly or Cleveland go the finals.

In the West.... again, not sure. Houston is playing the best.

Here's a question for everyone. Assuming the Jazz, Rockets, C's, Raps, and Cavs win their series, how would you rank the top 8 teams? Feels like outside of Houston, the next 7 are really debatable.
I would say that I probably agree with you re: West vs. East. As others have mentioned, it's not going to stay like this next year with the Sixers and Celtics rising (although, LeBron heading West would be material), but it's definitely evident this year.

1) Houston
2) Golden State
3) Utah
4) Philadelphia
5) New Orleans (tough team to rank, almost put them at #4)
6) Cleveland
7) Toronto
8) Boston

For the record, based on how these teams have played thus far in the playoffs, Cleveland should be dead last on this list. If Brown/Tatum can ascend to true #1 option this playoffs and break out, the C's may be the best team in the East. Same thing with the Raptors duo. But until then, LeBron is LeBron.

It's a tough one. I don't see anyone outside of Warriors and Rockets making it from the West but I feel like the East is pretty open, with the Raptors, Sixers, Cavs and even the Pacers and Wizards with a chance.

And it's gonna be a very interesting Finals. I think Houston is the favorite but they'll potentially have to go through the Wolves, Jazz and Warriors to get there. That's the 2nd best team in the league, 2 of the Top 5 and 3 of the Top 10. Meanwhile, I don't think any of the East teams are Top 5 right now so whoever comes out have had it easier.

Is it possible that this give the East team an advantage since they aren't so "spent"?

Oh it's on!!!!!!!

Haha! Guess we'll see. Gonna be a fun series. AD playing like AD. Jrue playing like an all star and Rondo being playoff Rondo. If Curry is even a little bit gimpy I think it's all on as I don't think GSW can operate with Iguodala as the point guard against Rondo and Holiday.

Utah assuming they get by OKC will give Houston fits. I wouldn't be shocked to see them take out Houston in 6 but I'll say Houston in 7. Still think it'll be golden state vs either Cleveland or Philly leaning toward Philly

Yeah could well be, but this Pelicans team is playing very well. Hope they make a series of it.

If it's Cavs-Warriors again I'll be pissed. And if the Cavs win I'm quitting this forum and probably the entire sport.
Problem is, Cavs still looking the best team in the East. Indy could have put them away, didn't. Raptors aren't going to come back in this series. 76ers could beat them, but are struggling against the C's and probably won't win. And I can't see the C's winning without Kyrie.

Jazz and Rockets both look like TOUGH teams, so either of those could knock off the Warriors. I'd like to see Houston win. Not sure how they'd fare against the Cavs but should be good enough.

I'm not a believer in HOU at all. Who the hell would guard LeBron?

Plus their defense isn't that great and CLE can turn it on enough at times.

It's GS again. But if CLE get there LeBron might just get the finals MVP this time.

Have to go Dubs.

Basically we're watching the same late narrative with the Cavs on the East. Super close against Indiana–I must acknowledge–but still prevailing and beating the crap out of the Raps.

GS dismantled the Spurs, will dispatch the Pels soon enough, and honestly I see no reason to trust the Rockets at all against a team that has Curry and if he fails has KD and if he fails has Klay and so on. It is just too much, they'll make the finals and in no sane-men-head is the idea of Cleveland pulling the upset (yes, LeBron will carry those bunch of corpses to the Finals once again...)

Boring and repetititve but the times we live in...
