Can't they just make the Universal Title just go away. So now we get to sit around for months while you have a champion who doesnt defend the title until WrestleMania. Whats the point. They need to give The Miz or Elias a title cause are wrestlers who will show up every week and represent the brand properly

They've got guys like Almas who can't even fit it on TV time because the title hierarchy is all screwed up when they're wasting the Universal on Lesnar and tag on Rollins and Ambrose that you can't build a division around. Would rather hot potato it than have it meaningless

I SMH at reason Miz had to look hurt as they could not do part-time Randy, Old broken down Hardy, Or Rey who's knees are shot look weak. Would you not want a guy who is maybe your best heel look strong?

My guess this mess goes on with WWE booking Shane to beat Styles for the belt.

I only hope that there's a quick rematch on US soil where Lesnar drops the title to Strowman. I can see the logic that they didn't want to start Strowman's run at that event.

Or, we will see the title twice until Wrestlemania. One of the two.

They seriously need to rename the title and bring back the big gold belt. At this point, the Universal Title feels like the 4th most important belt.

Dana White said no time table for a match. My guess WWE threw enough money at Brock for him to put off UFC. As Brock only cares about a paycheck he will go were the most money is.

I read his new deal allows him to do UFC whenever he wants.

I saw this as well. I think WWE really wants Brock to walk into that UFC octagon with the WWE title around him, or at least be recognized as the WWE champion. If this somehow leads to any type of crossover angle with Cormier in the WWE then I'm all for it.

I guess it just comes down to when the Brock/Cormier fight takes place. If it's early 2019 the WWE title is staying on Brock. If it's a little later, like in March, the title is changing at Royal Rumble. I just can't see WWE keeping the title on Brock for Mania if a UFC fight happens in March. If Brock gets hurt, which is a strong possibility, there goes the WM plans.

Dana didn't put a time table but Cormier has said March 2nd UFC 235 is what he wants to be his last match.

I'd build Seth up to win the title

Have him face Dean at the Rumble, lose to Dean. Then comes into the Rumble wins it. Takes on Lesnar and wins. Roster out to put him on their shoulders while Dean looks on at the top of the ramp in disgust. Dean vs. Seth to Summerslam.

Loved having the tag titles on Dean and Seth. Figured Dean would turn eventually but was surprised it happened that night. Awesome moment and totally worth it imo.

I think this year Rumble winner is either Bryan or Miz as the other one will win title at Rumble and other win spot to face them at WM.

This is something that I dont like about WWE, when they have a long term vet win the Rumble for the purpose of forcing a storyline. I'm sure there are cases where this can lead to great storytelling, but in this case, they dont need it.

Bryan/Miz already have enough history to make a match at Mania.
To me, the Rumble should be used to boost an upcoming talent into the title picture or give them a little more momentum with the fans (as was intended for Reigns). Bryan or Miz don't need this victory.

True but if there is one guy in the ring that can hold a story line and make the belt look legit and defend it weekly its the Miz.

Now on a side note - When Mandy Rose came out on Tuesday night....oh she needs to be on camera more...
