well UD does do good sometimes
Well I have had a redemption problem with good ol' UD that stemmed back to July that has been nothing but headaches.
I had a 07 SP Authentic full name redemption of Devern Hansack redemption that i got and redeemed but only got 1 letter (the redemption card looked like a letter card not a blank w/ a sticker) well when i called i got the run around and then told that is what all their redemptions looked like and the guy said i was wrong and i tried to explain to him that the regular single letters expire in November and the full names in December but he said I was wrong and that they all expire in November so i scanned the card and sent it to them and never got a response multiple e-mails and calls later i was told they have not received any e-mails and then i could not find the card (might have gotten tossed out) well after asking for supervisors and such i got a hold of someone that i sent all the copies of the e-mails and the automated responses from their system and all the names and days that i had spoke with people. (go figure someone dropped the ball and just said they never got anything) well after a while he looked into it and apologized but since i can't find the card and my e-mail service doesn't keep attachments after sent all i had were the correspondences he said he would do something to make up for it. so i received a package via fed ex that had some cards that i think made up for the problem because i got players i know rather than a rookie who i don't. these are what i received: and 2 of these one of the Griffey's i will put in the trades section in hopes to trade for a Mattingly, Ripken or Ryan auto since i have 2 and these 3 have always alluded me. Ithink it was a fair replacement |

Not a bad trade. I too pulled the Full Name Hansack and sold it on the 'bay for around $100 so your not far off in compensation. The one thing I don't understand is why the redemptions expire so soon just for this release. I thought it was a mistake but when I noticed it wasn't I knew I had to sell the card much quicker. Maybe they wanted to give out the full name redemptions as Christmas presents to employees, I don't know. I really wanted to give it another shot and go for another Full Name redemption but I guess I'll let it pass myself.

UD and the other companies if they're using redemptions want the cards redeemed sooner than later since the longer they allow the product to be redeemed the harder it is to keep the actual stock (given the number of replacements they do).
Given it was for Hansack I'd say you made out well. That Rivera may very well bring some great money. Interesting patch on him....guessing all star game?

I would say you made out real well. The 2 Griffey autos are probably worth more than the Hansack and you got a handful of other cards as well.
