Funny thing is, I have Sharpedo, but no Carvanha yet.

I've been able to get a bunch of Carvanha here in Maui, and almost enough candies for a Wailord. I made a Breloom today finally. Learned a new gym thing today, had no idea that a golden razz completely refilled a mon's CP in a gym, spent about 30 minutes battling someone's 3k+ Blissey that kept getting max CP over and over.

Flew home to Florida today for 2 weeks.

Received my first EX Raid invite for a gym on my normal daily walking route back in NYC 3 hours after landing lmao

Did 3 yesterday. If it has thunder super easy. When its blizzard its a lot tougher. Havent done a hydro though.

I hate the new raid boss. Its a pain in the ass to hit with the ball. I feel like someone who is throwing one for the first time. its deceptively far away, and I find it very tough to hit with the curve.

Started off 2/2(one was a critical), then missed 7 in a row.

I don't care about that. I hate the fact that I can barely get him with a curve ball with how far away he is.

I've just been waiting for him to move to the left side of the screen actually lately.

i'm am disliking Kyogre. He is eluding me. With my normal curving, i can only hit him when he's on the left side or hit him off center if he's in the middle. i've gotten a few great curves in the middle but i'm frequently wasting balls that way. i've been straight throwing lately and my numbers have been much better actually. it is just different going so high % with Groudon and i'm less than 50% with this whale. I think i may have figured out a better way to curve.. normally i swirl in a circle from the bottom left and then throw a curve. i think if just go more up and down from the bottom left instead of a circular motion i can get some better distance on the throw. I'll see if this changes things. best Kyogre is 91.1% so far.. nothing in the 2300's has appeared for me yet after 18 of them. I did get a boosted one 77.8% (blech) when it was raining the very first evening. We rarely get rain, but when we do we do get a ton of lotads.

Got a mewtwo on my side account this morning. nice to have that dex entry done. We were able to 4 man it which was super fun. lvl 32, 33, 36, 40.

Kyogre is def harder. That said, my wife and I went a combined like 11/15. But that includes 3 Critical caught guys, and went 1/4 outside in the cold like 12 degrees and windy. Had a group of 17 so it took 30 seconds to beat him, but just basically threw the balls as fast as we could to run back to the car (we had already caught 2 each so didn't really care)

But yea, my first 4 went- 1 ball, 2nd ball critical, 1 ball. Then last ball. Like yea, this dude sucks

You guys are lucky, pokemon has pretty much officially died in my town. Stinks too because I used all the coins I earned from gyms to buy a bunch of raid passes. Still haven't had more than two other people interested in doing the new boss raid.

Luckily we have a core group who goes out, but even now its hard for us all to get together because of the weather and work schedules. I went pretty casual for a while but my friends have been going hard. They are 2 manning Ttar constantly with plenty of room to spare.

One of my goals is to 2 Man/Woman a Ttar with my girlfriend. Shes only level 30 right now, but she has a full team of counter/dynamic punch Machamps. I'm level 37, but only have one Counter/Dynamic punch machamp (the rest are Counter/Close Combat) and I can't for the life of me TM them properly.

If it helps all of my group are 40 and mostly consisting of 96%+ Maxed out Machamps

Yea I'm sure it'll be a few levels before we can do it, and we'll definitely need the cloudy weather boost.

So with the new update.... If you throw a blue Ball, the next time you click a buy it will throw that same color to start, IE Blue.

So no longer do I have to switch from Red to blue every time I'm catching guy manually!!!!!

I caught 5 shiny Pikas today as well. Only played for an hour and a half though. I know someone who already has 8 and that was an hour ago. I’m curious what he finishes at.
