Default wrestlingcardking on ebay

Greetings! I have been a lurker on this board for quite some time but finally decided to join this board. I have spent most of my time on the PSA boards and you may have seen me on ebay as a buyer and a seller. Looking forward to dialogue with you all and decided to do my greeting in this space since this is where I will be 99% of the time on this forum.

Sincerely,
Rob

Welcome, I have seen your sets on the registry and they are very impressive. I own the #1 set for the 85 wwf topps set and I am almost finished with the 87 wwf topps set, by the time the 87 set is done it should be #1 also. This forum is one of the best and hopefully you will find it beneficial. there are a few other guys who collect graded wrestling cards hopefully they will introduce themselves soon.

What sets are you gong to build next? I'm always looking for a new challenge and will have something that I will move on to next. My goals right now are to finish the 1973 handcut photo cards and the master set of parkhurst cards from 1954. There are 137 in that one and some cards have never been graded to date. I also plan on completing the 1982 Wresting All Stars Series A entirely autographed. All 36 cards which everyone knows is a complete beast!

I am not a huge fan of modern wrestling (1993 to now) to be honest as far as what I am looking for to add in my collection. I do appreciate some of the wrestling sets in the 1980s. I do have some WCW magazine rookie cards of Steve Austin, I really like the Miami football card of the Rock, and the football card of Goldberg, etc. I have also held on to a nice Mick Foley RC. I do like some of the BBM Japan cards as those are tough to get. My quest is to get the 1982 Wrestling All Stars Series A in as high grade as I can get entirely autographed. You can view that set by looking in my PSA registry and I have a photo of each card there for all to view. I still need to slab my Bruiser Brody and find a way to acquire a signed rookie of Andre the Giant.

Thanks for posting the link to my sets as that is a good way to introduce me to the boards!

I posted quite a few things on ebay the last few days and that is also a way to see things I collect.

There is a signed ANDRE BGS slabbed on ebay right now. The buy it now isn't too bad considering Andre has been dead for some time now.

Default signed Andre on ebay

I did see that one and I was hoping to get a little better one as that one is low grade. I know beggars cannot be choosers with a rare card like that though. It is a consideration of mine for sure. Thanks for the assistance!

Welcome to the board. I am fairly new to wrestling collecting myself. It is always nice to have new knowledgeable collectors on the board. I have a question for you wrestling collectors. I just purchased this off of Ebay just because I thought they were cool. I had never seen them before myself. Do you guys think I made a good purchase on it, or was this a waste of money in your eyes? Here is the item I am talking about. Opinions would be appreciated.

1994 WWF Complete 10 Hologram Sticker Card Set Undertaker Bret Hart Savage WWE | eBay
I have never seen the set before and I considered buying it just because I am a Bret Hart collector and I don't have that one. I would consider that a good buy, and depending on the condition it can be a great buy. there are a lot of Undertaker fans that would buy that set just for the Undertaker card. so in a nut shell a decent buy.

I have 2 I am strongly considering, 1st the 1985 wrestling all star set, the hand cut set from the magazine, or the 85 WWF OPC series 2 set. the all star set might be more challenging but the OPC set is larger. Not sure which one I am going with yet.

Nice Dan Gable cards. He is the man I look up to as a wrestling coach. Was able to add him to the auto collection TTM a few months ago. Huge pickup when it came back.

Dan Gable is one the main guys that I go after when there is a card that I need. You can find his 1972 rookie on ebay that I am selling

Thanks for looking!

The Steve Austin PSA 9 Rookie card is going to be a monster!

If you list it I will definitely be making a run at that card.

I have subbed some cards to PSA, did they tell you those grades or are you pretty good at grading? My order status just says processing. I have some 91 Merlins I am thinking about sending in (Italian). If you list the Austin I will also make a run at it just sayin.

These are final grades.

Once you see them hit they are official and then the cards are coming back to you.

I have some Merlin cards at PSA now.
