In my opinion Michigan st is the only big ten team i would count on right now to win if the ncaa tournament started today. The rest look like a disaster. Minnesota has yet to be tested so I cannot talk on their behalf.

“The Gophers confirmed Mason will not be suspended for Wednesday’s game against Miami (Fla.) for his ejection. He made a mistake that started a bizarre series of events, including an ensuing skirmish, more ejections and Alabama eventually playing 3-on-5.”
Since when is this possible? Do we just make up rules as we go now? 2 technicals and an ejection would ordinarily be automatic suspension from the next game. Why is this punk off the hook? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And since your mind is the brightest known to man, we’ll take your word for it. Do the long winter months up there make everyone so smug? Or was that an inherited trait? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes my question about NCAA rules was certainly caused by IU’s performance to date. I actually rooted for the blonde rats when my team wasn’t playing them until the pompous Twin City fans on this board swayed my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I answer your question respectfully and you have to respond like this? What set you off today? Did nobody like the potato salad you made for Thanksgiving? Remind me not to be kind enough to answer your questions respectfully about the rulebook anymore.

If you don’t see the smugness in this statement, then you’ve just become so smug that you’re oblivious to it. In any case, 1 technical foul is the warning. Any player dumb enough to get the 2nd deserves to sit the next game. Regardless of the opponent. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in that coaching family. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That was one of the worst offensive halves of basketball I've watched this season. Neither team could hit an open shot to save their lives. Purdue will win this game if both teams keep shooting this poorly. I expect Purdue to shoot a lot better in the 2nd half though

Stop fighting guys, you're ruining this thread. Let's just set aside the next hour and bask in the brilliance of Matt Painter.

If Louisville just brought down their offensive rebounds instead of trying to tip everything in, they'd be up double digits

Well, looks like the Big Ten has their first win of the ACC/Big Ten challenge. Man, that was a horrible offensive game though. Both teams just looked awful offensively. And it's laughable how Purdue doesn't go inside to Haas as much as they should when he has a size advantage (they must realize how soft him and Haarms are too). It happened on about 6 straight possessions where they were more content taking a contested three or deep two than go inside to their bigs who have 6'7" guys on them. In the end, Purdue won as I expected. Louisville is a solid team but I do think they are ranked too high (I've thought this all season). I see them more as a 22-24 ranked team personally.
