It is a key book, but the condition is low for a modern. Unsigned books at higher grades are selling for $50-$100. There are plenty of sold listings on ebay for you to determine what you think is a fair price.

I personally don't place a lot of value on Stan Lee's signature, but in my opinion that is driving the value of that book. Id guess $120 on the low end, maybe $200 on the high end.

yeah, I wouldn't pay more than $120 for it as Stan Lee's signature is really the only piece of value at that grade.

Agreed and I hate looking at that book. The paper color makes it difficult to tell higher grade on it.

A Stan Lee autograph is worth a baseline of $120, since that's what he (or "they") charge at conventions.

To get it CGC certified Signature Series and that Stan Lee Label costs about $40.

The comic book is rather worthless to a degree, and the fact that Stan Lee had nothing to do with the comic book nor even created any of the characters, it's a poor choice of comics to get signed and own.

But regardless, as an autograph collector and for investment, I'd say $150 would be a fair price if you're into that book, and anything lower could make it a good buy for future resale.

This may be going up this year to between $140-$160 from what I'm being told, just an FYI.

I know of one private signing at his home this summer. Not sure on public appearances.

i heard that if they decide to do public signings it would be $300 per autograph, since the events never fail to sell out, so rather than go through the SVCC fiasco of over-extending Stan, it's just as profitable to charge more, get the same net revenue and spend less time generating the money.

I also heard that, public signings may be replaced by a private signing model, through a facilitator or mailed in submission, also at a higher price tag, but done at Stan's leisure and comfort of his own surroundings, eliminating the travel and high volume work hours.
