I am really getting excited about that movie. Likelihood of being disappointed... 90%?

I outgrew my one graded comic storage box. No local store that I'm aware of carries them, so I have to order them online. Probably much cheaper anyway. I was at Target and saw some bins that were a little bit more than the graded comic boxes (they were $8 each). Picked up a few and they really work well for graded comics. I think I will may stick with these. Thought I'd share for anybody who might be interested.

They hold about 22-23 books, so much lighter than a full graded comic box. They are about the depth of a short box, wider and taller obviously. If you are using one of those 3ft x 18in shelving units for storing, like I am, these will work nicely for you. If not, they are stackable. The handles are nice too. I hate the handles on comic boxes.

I was wrong about Walking Dead --- you will see this book in the $1 bin for the very first time.

On a side note, I 5x "order by the bundle". Even if these sell at $1 each - talking about 4x over face.

Like the new label, like those boxes too. If they stack when full, is that an issue? Do the covers seem strong enough for the weight being put atop?

There is like an inch gap there between the lids and the slabs, so there won't be any weight on the slabs themselves. Not sure how many high you can stack them. They aren't too heavy with ~25 books in them... so at least 3 maybe 4.

Up to $164.95 now (from 149.95). If you're on the fence might want to make a decision soon!

If you are going to pay $160 for the set --- you might as well order 500 books @ $.25.

Total cost for 500 books would be $125!

And if you preordered, that would be around $85 or so.

Why pay $160 for 2 books ---- when you can pay $85ish and get a boatload more?

$125 worth of regular books

$160 worth for the set (200 and 500 variant)

and one additional 1:200 variant.

(might as well order 600 books)

It's a good point Marino, but if you go direct from diamond shipping would factor in, no?
Or if you order thru your LCS wouldn't they pass along some of that shipping cost?
(I'm admittedly ignorant on this... never ordered in huge bulk qty before)

BTW, up to $179.95 now, $30 higher than yesterday's initial offering.

My LCS do not charge shipping and so forth since I picked up when my stuff begins to pile up at his shop.

I preordered at 40% off and get all the incentives attached to the order (if any).... it is like "Buy 3 Get 2 Free"
