Nice.. love that Magik cover.

I was able to work out a deal off ebay for another AForce copy.. A few NCB ticks but looks pretty mint overall from the images. If anyone wants my spare copy (for a fee) message me ..Im thinking of departing with it.

Almost jumped on the 9.8 UXM #510 - sketched version - on auction a couple days ago .... then, the remarqued flashback happened.

With the sold price for the 9.6 .... the offer I got was pretty good for the 9.8

Oh well --- WD #150 --- I am coming for you.

Someone grabbed it ..heard the seller split up the 3 book auction. Not a bad price for all 3 but I can never imagine spending that much on a modern just because it's a rare cover.

The 510 partial sketch is different than the remarque issue you had tho. JSC can't print anymore of the 510 sketch covers. LOL

9.6 sold for 3k in an open auction. I can only imagine how much an 9.8 would have gone if it was auction style.

He did ... but not really auction ... it is off-eBay.

My negotiation was for "newly minted Benjamins" -- no paypal's gift or paypal with fees.

Did not really care for the "$800 9.2" or the other. I was focus on the 9.8 #510 only. He really did not want to break them -- but in the end, the buyer who actually got him to separate --- he got away with a VERY good deal in my opinion for the 9.8.

It was the JSC's attachment ... lol

IF I had detached myself from that ---- I would have own the 9.8 UXM #510.

But, I have my eyes on a 9.8 Iron Man #55 --- at my LCS competitor --- I normally do not support the competitor of my local shop .... but I did ask my buddy ---if he can pull or locate one --- we can talk.

I see Silk #3 already sold out at Midtown. Sigh...

If anyone snagged an extra copy I'd love to have one.

Especially if stores were not paying attention when the cover was announced and did not increase orders. This could be another SSM 20.

I will take a wild stab at this --- he would be lucky if he can net 10% after all the fees associated to the auction.

Here is another remark that was available through jsc's website. I'm guessing people have gotten their orders. Let's see if others make their way on eBay. If these start going for sub $200 . I am in. Lol

It was $500 for that? Was that the price through the website? I know he offered some at conventions, but I'm not sure it was this cover.

Its from the website: $550-650 depending on if he got the sale price
J. Scott Campbell Remarques: Spider-Gwen #1 – J. Scott Campbell Store

Still awesome!

RE the remarks - I doubt they will lose money, but we'll see. I've been wrong before.

Although the one that is listed at $1900... I don't think thats really a "for sale" listing. I think its more like a, "Sure its for sale, if you are willing to pay $$$" type listing. I mean, even the SS 9.8s sold for under $1200.

Or, maybe he thinks he has a better chance with the cover than he does with the jackpot this weekend.

So, I saw that there is a J Scott Campbell "Renew Your Vowes" short box offered at Hastings. I could not find it on the site. Anyone with a Hastings near by care to confirm it?
