Working on a big trade this card came up as an offer, anyone have an idea of what this card might be worth now a days. I know it’s a lot I have searched and have not seen any listed in years any help would be greatly appreciated.

In fakecoin(bitcoin) or cash? In coin I think $23,233.23, but in real cash? I think about $350... that is, if its authentic, and not one of the ton of fakes floating around of all 90's inserts. So can't even tell anymore.

Have a picture?

So people are flocking to LJ these days? I guess he's the next thing people think they might make a bucks on... who will even know who MJ is in 5+ years? I would keep that Lebron if I were you, especially with scammers running wild these days. Fake cards produced by the boat load, fake prices, fake trades and "record prices," you name it!

I am by no means an expert but there are some on here willing to help You are making the right move seeking a second opinion. However, they will not be able to help you without clear pics

Definitely post pictures here. I've had two people reach out to me recently who were offered 98-99 Jordan star rubies in trades and they both turned out to be fake...

Correct.

That’s a huge card. But if you haven’t been following... these have been replicated very well. You need to do some serious research on the rubies before you make a deal for one.

Right. If someone is offering one up in trade to someone else who isn’t super familiar with the set.... 99% it’s fake.

Who will know who MJ is in 5 years? Everyone, not just basketball fans but fans of every sport and just people in general. He transcends sports. I have watched a total of about 5 baseball games total in my life. Ruth, DiMaggio, Mantle, Cobb, I know who they all are yet they played decades before I was born. It’s not like MJ is going to be forgotten, ever.

Stay away from Rubies if you are not an expert. Fakes even in PSA and BGS Slabs when these companies were suppose to be the authentication gate keepers.

But who's buying Ruth, DiMaggio, Mantle, and Cobb, inserts?

Forgotten the players? No. Forgotten the silly shinny cards? Yep!

Feel like I’m going in circles but Nobody here should can/should offer an opinion whether to deal or not until you post the pics

I was offered a mj rubies recently for a big Lebron card of mine. After seeing pics a few of us agreed it was fake.

Probably not a coincidence
