for me it was about getting in on the ground floor of something that could be great. If its an amazing product, you will then get first crack at memberships every year. no-brainer. What if it's the next FOTL? I know that's a stretch but still. A lot of speculation but here's hoping it sells out by the end of the day.

I know that Topps sold Transcendent on their website but it was also available at other places. I think Topps is referring to the highest end product that has ever been available only at Topps.com. Which would be TC Sapphire I believe.

Unsure if update is included. They call the 2018 Limited set "complete" and update is not included. Although update was not yet released when Limited was.

But it does not say "only". Then again, few minutes ago they had a RC logo on that Trout so who knows...

Just can’t pull the trigger. If I were a bigger baseball guy I would be all over this though. I think this is probably a good buy

Bought one. Common sense tells me the auto should pay the membership fee. Trout? Ohtani? Acuna? Mays? Judge? Aaron?

Hoping Topps doesn't massively overprice the exclusive set down the road. Would also be nice to allow members access to product unavailable to general public.

This is a copycat industry and I think this is Topps starting a similar program to Panini's FOTL. So I joined

Let me think out loud and try to break down prices..conservatively.

2 autos ($10 x2)
Complete MLB set with 582 Montgomery stamp (I assume 700 cards). Limited set is what 1000 or so made at $100 each. ($100)
2 20 card sets. ($20 x2)
Sticker Set ($20)
20-30 card release ($20)

So $200 for $200 (minimum return), inaugural set plus potentially/realistically better autos and 1st crack at exclusives.

Still undecided. It's like Sapphire. Was on the fence. Then when I decided to buy, it was sold out and I fell in love with the set/box price the more I learned.

Topps Chrome Sapphire was $1500 for a complete set in 2016 and 2017 and $200 for a box this year.

On Beckett they say the complete set is 2019.

"The exclusive card lineup rounds out with a special version of the 2019 Topps Baseball factory set that comes with a 582 Montgomery stamp to differentiate it from the regular versions."

I think Topps knows how 2019 is shaping up. Got to figure out new ways to move product.

I signed up basically figuring that the stuff included will pay for the membership and hoping that maybe there will be some opportunity to buy some boxes or cases of flagship and heritage direct, wishful thinking I know, but who knows
