He was not aware until this was made. Again that does not make him a liar. Why did you not just accept his offer of a full refund like a DECENT HUMAN would do? Instead you wanted to be a scumbag. Point is he offered a full refund upon return, but you are butthurt because you lost out on a flip.

After the thread was made he blamed the mistake on panini. Both cases he did offer a full refund yes but my point was to point out what appeared to be blatant lies in his eBay listings to increase sales. Last edited by ainmon; 11-06-2018 at 09:53 AM. |

you should've only made a call out thread if the seller wasn't being cooperative about the return or willing to work with you. seems like he was, so I think its unfair to have him work with you and make a call out thread....cant have it both ways.

All you are doing is being added to many BBLS. Again you are just butthurt because you missed a flip... You cleaerly do not know what you are doing because I can tell they are not silvers either Either that or you bought them knowing full well they were not then was hoping to later take advantage and bully the seller into a partial refund. When id did not go your way you got all butthurt. Last edited by shrevecity; 11-06-2018 at 09:54 AM. |

Not the same scenario but similar possible situation would the forum want to know if someone was selling replica autos as real the seller might genuinely not know the difference. You explain and show him the difference offer to still buy the replica at the value it was at when you made the deal and he still says he is right but you can return... Or should the buyer simply take the sellers offer of a return and not say anything? As I said, I shouldn't have brought the money aspect up but I did. My mistake on that. |

Again the seller was going by YOUR word (guess buyers never lie) yet he still did what was right and offered a FULL REFUND. Once the thread was made he then realized he was wrong and that offer is still on the table. You are nothing but a scammer trying to get something for nothing. Nice way to ruin your Ebay reputation. I think Notorious should share the OPs Ebay ID for those who cannot read it in the messages posted.

and if you were already in the talks with the seller before this thread and he was agreeing to a refund, regardless if he was still thinking he was right, then making this thread was kind of scummy and there was no reason to call him out really. if he was intentionally trying to deceive thats one thing, but it just seems like he thought he was right and just was uninformed about what he had. Who knows maybe he would maybe he would not list them the same, but that is on him not you. If he did, then that is where a thread should be made. Grow up. |

dictoresno: thank you for your input. I appreciate your perspective. When I purchased these I was not getting a "bargain" as you say. The silver Mahomes were averaging 37.50 per card. I paid $35 per card. I essentially paid retail for these. The base that I received were selling for $22 per card. I asked for the difference. The seller said no because prices have gone up so I didn't get a bad deal. That is what initially upset me.

Shrevecity: Perhaps I should have waited. Unfortunately I think the money issue has made up many people minds without looking into the details. I made the thread to point out someone who mislabeled eBay sells to make more money. He was very quick to not admit fault and offer a return yes. It's the fact that he was steadfast in saying his listing is accurate and he's sorry I'm upset about it. If this thread was not made I sincerely believe they would be relisted at a higher price and still labeled silver prizms.

There is nothing in the sellers feedback on Ebay to indicate he might have been trying to deceive his only neutral is a positive comment, so I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Last edited by shrevecity; 11-06-2018 at 10:22 AM. |

he thought he was selling X when he was really selling Y. you paid X prices for Y and since X is really what you were looking for, just return them as he offered. done deal. he acknowledges his mistake misidentifying the cards, you made your point. take the refund. |

I would agree with you on that. It was the fact that he quoted the base card price that ended yesterday (after prices went up) saying this is the exact same card to justify why he wouldn't do a partial refund. He could have quoted the more expensive silver Version saying look these are selling for $50 each no way (strengthens his case exponentially) but he chose to quote a lessor value saying this is the exact card I sent you. That really struck me as odd and led me to believe he knew the difference between the two.

oh and judging from his picture, I can tell those are base cards when I compare them to a true silver auction. and im not even familiar with them. |
