Band practice tonight, so Taco Bell on the way home.

Real food tomorrow though-- might try to do red or green curry (I think I have a jar of green, so it'll likely be that) with chicken thighs and chana masala since we have some naan to use up.

Is that even a serious question?

I typically start with a cold pot, heavy cream and butter. Let that simmer for a bit then add parm, salt, and a generous amount of pepper. I do cheat with the chicken though with the Opti-Grill.

I think my problem is letting it get too hot. Cheese ends up getting stuck to the pan.

I now cheat and start with a canned sauce and spruce it up

Thatís probably it. Butter and cream heat up too fast and separate and cheese doesnít melt properly. Also be sure to stir a good bit. Donít want it to boil or burn.

I'm usually too hungry for the patience.. LOL. Now homemade tapioca pudding, I'll stir that sucker until my arm falls off!

Went to Olive Garden for Mother's day.

After tip $145 for 4 people is a little nuts when we didn't buy drinks but food was decent.

I got chicken parm with fettuccine alfredo, ate half there and eating the other half now.

My dad always takes me mom out for mother's day just the two of them so I took her out today.

She had a crab cake dinner and I had a lobster roll.

Oh New England seafood, one of the few things I miss about the CT shoreline
