Default Chevy Chase..........auto???????????????

Not sure if this is funny or kinda messed up considering he's being paid for his signature. Thoughts?

As long as he honestly wrote it, I think its pretty cool. Especially if others have various comments or an actual signature.

I'd be annoyed if I got that. He was paid to sign his name not something vulgar like that. What if a young collector had pulled this card? Chevy should be thankful that he is sort of relevant that people would pay for his signature.

I would love to have that. I assume he's not trying to be vlugar, just quoting from a movie.

Chevy Chase is notorious as being one of the biggest pricks in Hollywood. This does not surprise me in the slightest.

I personally enjoy him as an actor and I think it's very fitting of his persona.

The fact that it's on the card and in a box would not be his decision.

Very good point. Its a sticker "auto". Those at Leaf deliberately put it on there. Maybe he signed them all like that, maybe this is the only one, I have no clue, but ultimately it was Leafs decision to put it on the card. Im assuming that these are put on by hand.

He should've written his name along with it.
Even so, where value is concerned, it's multiples of a card with his actual (sticker) signature on it.

If memory serves me correctly, this was one of the Chevy variants from last years POP set that a lot of people wanted! Is it your card? If so, I bet you will get a nice amount of $$ for it if you put it out for auction...

Given who it is I think it's funny. He's pretty much known for being a smartass.

If he's doing inscriptions, it'd be hard to top:
"I'm Chevy Chase and you're not".
That said, what he wrote essentially says the same thing.

All I see is that sticker coming off, and getting another Chevy Chase sticker signature with is name and having GUCD231 make one hell of a card!

I'd like it if he signed one Erwin Fletcher.

It would be been nice to have his sig AND this inscription. Could PSA or DNA even verify this as legit by him? Haha

Still a funny card to own but like others said it's a toss-up on value.

I could see Bill Murray doing this as well.

I seem to remember him specifically saying that in a movie. I just can't remember which one.

It may be funny, but if he didn't bother putting his name on it, I think leaf should have actually put two stickers on the card. There's not an easy way to verify that he actually wrote that himself. He probably did, but seems like let down to me without an actual sig. But tbf, I usually prefer the cards to not even be inscribed because for a lot that means the text is squished everywhere and the sig is probably overlapping the words or picture on the card. They come out super messy. I like inscriptions if they don't ruin The whole card.
