We should sticky this thread and have everyone put the card set and the size of the magnetic/topholder.

2012 Bowman Sterling RC's/Refractors - 55pt
2012 Certified RC's/Parallels/Signatures - 35pt
2012 Crown Royale RC's/Parallels/Uncuts/Rookie Signatures - 35pt
2012 Fleer Retro (All) - 35pt
2012 Limited RC's/Parallels/Monikers - 35pt
2012 Panini National Treasures Rookie Signatures/Century Parallels - 100pt
2012 Panini Playbook Rookie Signatures/Parallels - 75pt
2012 Prime Signatures Autographs - 130pt (a little room, I would think Pro Mold 120's would fit nicely)
2012 Score (All) - 35pt
2012 Topps RC's/Parallels - 35pt
2012 Topps Chrome (All) - 35pt
2012 Totally Certified Rookie Autographs/Parallels - 100pt
2012 Topps Turkey Red (All) - 35pt
2012 Upper Deck RC's/Rookie Autographs/Sepia/15 Stripe - 35pt

I pulled all of these from my PC, so please note all sizes are for the base RC's and parallels. My guy didn't get any jerseys this year.

naw i think they mean base. the patches are either 100 or 120/130. Jersey cards are 55/75. Depends how tight you like the cards.

Nope, see my note below my list. I'm just going off of base and RC's that didn't get jerseys. Most relics are going to be 75pt-130pt.

Maybe its just me but I would think any serious collector would keep a few of every size on hand at all times. I do this with magnetics and toploaders. I have a couple of every size magnetics from Ultra-Pro and Promold. I also have a few of each size toploaders from both companies as they are very close in size i.e-Ultra pro has 75 pt. and promold has 79 pt. You can buy 1 pack of every size top loader from both companies and two magnetics of every size from both companies for under $100 dollars. Then you would be covered for any size card. And you could hands on familiarize yourself with the size holders you will need if you are collecting or building a specific set. I know it stinks dropping $100 on supplies but you should protect your cards/investment properly.

I agree to a certain extent. Sometimes people can't afford $100 to drop on all the different sizes or they just won a card off eBay and they want to know what size magnetic they will need to order. Just helpful information for the non rich members of the board like myself.

I love the concept of this thread, but there are solo many different sets, parallels within the sets and even thickness of cards within the parallels (for instance Supreme Relic Autos are thicker for the lower parallels then let's say the base) that OP, you are gonna go nuts or the questions are inevitably still gonna pop up. Plus, how many times have we seen multiple threads because the poster is a). too lazy to search or b). too new to know any better to search?

I keep a couple of one touches of each point thickness in my protection bucket (yes in the one year back into the hobby I already have a tuperware with all my penny sleeves, top loaders, one touch, team bags, and even snap cases to keep them all cleaned and organized), that way when a new, random thickness card comes in, I can check what fits best, make note, and when im at the lcs next i will stock up if I know i will be getting a bunch more in or plan on going for the set.

On a side note,do think it is funny how many lcs owners have no clue and in my experience, majority have not cared. You would think the card companies would share this info, but then again, if it were like Topps redemptions the sizes would be two to three sizes too big anyways.

Thanks for the hard work OP though!

Just wanted to say thanks for the thread! Even if it only covers the main sets, it will be a valuable resource.

I also keep a few of each on hand but I go through them very fast sometimes. I think it is good to know what you need and if this only helps a couple people out, I think it was a success.
