Default $20 serial numbers pattern?

Someone mention to me that some bills might be worth more if they have a unique serial number. I started looking at my bills and today i got 72276678. Not amazing but pretty cool.

Probably not, but if you have a 12345678, 11223344, 12121212, etc or something similar like that it might be

I remember I was at a rest stop off the highway one time, and for whatever reason I was desperate enough to pay the $4 ATM fee to grab some cash. The bills I got were brand new and sequential, and something like 77775XXX. To this day I keep wondering if that machine had bill 77777777 inside it. If it was a bank ATM I could've used for free I would've drained that thing dry to find out. A brand new, crisp, 77777777 bundled with corresponding sequential notes would've been a nice pickup for somebody.

You needed some serious cash to catch the bill.

Yeah... I kinda regret not just coming back a day or two later and giving it another shot just to see where things stood with it.

Yup....those examples as well as radar notes (for example 13477431) or if you have 6 or more of the same number (such as 34333833) carry a nice premium with some collectors.
