Watched don't breathe today. It was good at times, stupid at times (guy falling through the window that they previously declared were all barred up).
Of course, the US version has a 'sequel coming soon' ending as opposed to the much more grim international ending. |

NOTE TO SELF: Look for the international version.

What'd you think of Johnny Depp as Guy LaPointe, the oddball private eye?

My girlfriend liked the movie but I couldn't stand it. The sequel (Yoga Hosers) I enjoyed more.

Just finished it on Netflix. I figured out the surprise early in the movie so it wasn't really great for me.
Also, the weird music whenever he's watching one of the snuff films... where does it come from? Does he queue up his Spotify whenever he wants to watch one? |

Pretty average anthology movie, not a must watch by any means but it was fun enough.

Finally watched The Green Room and The Invitation and by-far the best horror movies from 2016. I still need to watch The Eyes of my Mother.

Loved "The Invitation", "Green Room" was pretty good, but "The Eyes of my Mother" was ridiculously overhyped in my opinion. Beautiful to look at, but not much substance.

Heard that Eyes of my Mother was a slow burn with a big pay off and that the style was perfect for the movie.

Pretty spot on here. I liked it but wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anybody. Some of the shorts are fun, some are awful but if you've got nothing better to watch, you won't be mad.

Just watched The Invitation last night and it was a bit drawn out but I liked how it kept you guessing what was going to happen. Didn't see the final ending coming. Wouldn't mind seeing some sort of chaotic sequel come out of it.
