Yeah I think the 20% coupon really helped sales yesterday.

That's an amazing pickup. Where did you get it from? I'm assuming not eBay.

The final Update sold during the 20% off went for $400. I bought one at $365. This card is akin to the 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady. Iconic card that is realistically affordable.

Affordable at the time. What are the variations to have?

1- Hope diamond /60
2- Red target (print run?)
3- Diamond parallel (print run?)
4- Cognac parallel (print run?)
Then the rest?

Black should probably be #2 due to being /61

not sure where Walmart Blue lands

IMO:

1a) Hope Diamond (/60)
1b) Black (/60)
3) Red (probably only 500 or so, and extremely tough in grade)
4a) Diamond
4b) Gold (tougher than Diamond in high grade)
6) Blue
7) Cognac

Just to give an idea on the Blue and the Gold grade out.

Blue PSA 9 (20) PSA 10 (46)
Gold PSA 9 (63) PSA 10 (29)

Gold seems to have a centering issue too, at least I have seen more OC than I have Blue.

There are way more Diamond sparkles 10 than Cognac, and I think that is due to looking better. Cognacs seem to have centering issues too.

WOULD LOVE a Red... But it will just stay a dream...

Yes, totally agree - the gold definitely has a centering issue (and also seems more prone to edge chipping than the blue).

Diamond is certainly more common than Cognac...but also less popular.

Yes sir!

I was actually a bit surprised when my offer was accepted. I thought that, at the very least, the seller would counter at a higher price...but I also thought there was a very good chance that someone would pop the BIN. I actually expected that to happen. The centering is off a bit T/B, but looks really good L/R, and the corners and edges look great. Figure it may actually be under graded (though admittedly the pics weren't the best, so we'll see how it looks once it arrives).

Anyone know the estimated print runs of these two? I have a raw Cognac that I should grade and I think the card itself looks really good aesthetically. Haven't seen a Diamond in person to compare to see if I like it better.

Depending on who you talk to it will be over the place I am pretty sure. Those that have it, not many...those that don't, tons of em

At least with the Gold it's got a ser#, one of the 3 parallels that are numbered.

$1500 - wanted to throw something in right away to show I was interested but let him counter me back. No counter came.

In hindsight, I should have started higher, but I thought there was a chance he came back at $3k and if I started too high he might counter at $4k. Guess it doesn’t really matter now.

I think if it was my card for sale, I would have tried to get a couple of the offers to go against each other.
