Default $2000 to spend what should I buy.

I'm leaning toward a case of 2012 National Treasures and leaving the case sealed.I am young enough to hold on to this for 25 years. What would you guys buy with $2000.

Singles of your favorite players.

This one is about 200 over but it is nice and you could probably get it for under $2000:

not worth keeping sealded cases with redemptions gonna hurt reseal in the long run. I would go with singles or graded cards.

Yea knowing Panini, Cases will probably have about 10 redemptions each. No one will want to have to go through that in 25 years.

Buy some really nice singles. To much risk in boxes or cases.

EX/MT to NR MT vintage....for that kind of $$$ you could get decent Unitas, Starr, Brown or Namath RC's. Or buy some of the stars from the 1955 Topps All-American set, or some early Bowman FB.

Vintage will hold it's value over the long term....with modern cards it's a crapshoot, since you don't know how good the rookie's will turn out, or what will be produced in future years.

Luck & Griffin will have to have HOF quality careers and win a few Super Bowls to justify their current values. Are you willing to gamble on that? My guess is that Griffin ends up having a Vick/McNair/Doug Williams/Cunningham/Warren Moon level career, for example. Look what happened to Cam Newton in his 2nd year...

I would buy a large lot and resell. Keep the cards you like most in the collection. Make a little money and take the profit and invest in another lot.

.223 ammo and p-mags.
Best investment you can make when all these color pictures on foam board are fire can fodder in a few years.
