Default Why I keep All Prospects and RC

Yet another reason why I hold onto all prospects and RC. I have three large boxes of nothing but RC and prospects. Hoping some guys make it big.
Decided to go through one of the boxes last night. Not bad for one box. Two more to go!

Sounds like a great idea that I should start doing! Right now I have all the cards I have been opening since 2013 and it's a lot of boxes! Starting to go through my 2013 Topps Heritage and should be listing some Trout cards real soon.

I think I would have pulled out the black irregardless of player. Especially a RC. Lol

I haven’t gone through my boxes that have Bowman in them I also believe I have another box that has my gold Parallels of Topps. I had a few Healy, Olson in there so I’m hoping there are some Chapman’s too

I started doing the same thing. Pulled some Albies, Jose Ramirez, Degrom, and Chapmans from my box. I sort mine by team up front so it's a little easier to look for particular players.

Matt Chapman? Geez, I have a box somewhere with a bunch of him in it, probably not even penny sleeved!

This thread inspired me to check what I had for his cards.

9 team bags filled with 25 x 2014 1st Bowman Paper, 1 x 2014 Bowman 1st Chrome, 6 x 2017 Megas:

I do the same thing. All prospects and RC's get pulled and put in 800 ct boxes and stacked in storage. I haven't gone through them.

I leaned a long time ago when I sold a stack of Trout for 150 why ch included a sparkle and cognac. A few updates a well and two WM blues sold later for under 100. That was 2011. I’ve leaned to hold onto them

I hit a few players in group breaks, 40 Jose Ramirez Chromes and 5 Mookie Chrome Updates but they were already $10 or so

That 'coolest topps card from every year' article made me check my database to see what I had for Jose Ramirez. Turns out I have a 2014 Chrome auto /25.

Of course, I also have a 2011 Bowman Brandon Belt Auto /25 that I probably should have sold the day I pulled it (but I didn't).

Congrats on the Ramirez! It’s one reason I live raw cards. I love searching my stuff to find hidden treasures. Happy to see a guy like Chapman do well. He could very well be the type of def/hitter that Arenado is. Ironically, Arenado started over him when they were in either HS or college.

Last year and this year have a solid haul of rookie talent. How many others will be uncovered in the next few years?
