Default Cards Delivered to PSA on 11/27, Still Not In System

Is this normal? I have confirmed delivery of a 5 service day package that was received by PSA on 11/28, but they still haven't even entered the order under my account yet.

You pay for 5 service day turnaround and it's not even logged into their system after 4 business days. Is this normal?

My two recent orders (first with PSA) took two weeks from delivery until they were in the system

So they're still happy to take my money and not deliver what I'm paying for? Because it's a holiday and because they're moving? I'm sorry but those are costs of doing business. How is that my burden to bear as a consumer who has paid for service?

Did you even read the submission form? Logging tome does not count as part of the projected business days. Did you write "5 DAY SUBMISSION" on the outside of your package?

i think it's more of a back-log issue than moving/holidays/whatever. i had multiple 5 day submissions take 4 days to log in earlier in the year. i also had some that took 3 more recently

i think show schedules and submission volume play a role in this; but i don't think you are getting the hose

with those 3-4 day waits between processing........ my 10 day orders take 6-8 and 45 day take 10-12 days to log in

they have more than 10 graders but they seem to cycle and just feature 10 every month.... i think now is the time to have 12-13 and expand to getting a few others hired......... price changes for next year and back log of orders is indicative that they have grown exceedingly faster than expected.... but with that being said i haven't had any delays this year with a 5 day order or less, but the cheaper levels now i would assume all bets are off

Yes and yes.

That logging time loophole must be how they get out of promptly turning around product.

This is my first time sending in cards to PSA, so I'm not sure what the norm is.

Yup it's the norm and it's also an estimated time so don't think you'll have them graded after 5 days. My last 5 day took 8 lol

Like some of the other forum members noted, it's normal for PSA take a week or so to check in cards. My last submission in November took exactly 5 business days to flip from USPS received to PSA received/processing.

Be great if PSA came up with some type of SLA agreement that would drive better accountability. I understand capacity, seasonality, xyz influence their estimates but at a certain point it becomes comical.

I'm super curious as to how long my "10-day" order will take given how it was the "free" one that came with my subscription. It's obviously not free, but I wonder if they slot it behind other regular 10-day orders, or if they don't mark it at all.

Certainly not expecting it to be under 10 business days based on some of the recent PSA posts, as it seems like they're slammed/busy with the move

PSA doesn't slot anything. Its nearly completely random.

Yeah my free 10 day order was done in exactly 10 days. That was a couple weeks ago. However it took a week to process. As noted somewhere I sent that psa order in, 4 days later sent a bgs 10 day sub in and got bgs back 3 days earlier.

Mine was processed on 11/29, which makes 10 business days 12/12, or 12/13 if the first day doesn't count.

That hasn't stopped me from checking their website far too often...
